I had this concept after playing some MTG Arena for a
Grunn, the Lonely King
deck where I kick him, then boost him on the following turn with
Prodigious Growth
as a 17/17 Trample swinging for 34/34 Trample. The rest is just filling in ramp and blockers!
Because 9 kicked is so rough, I'm looking to incorporate treasure-create counterspells that serve to keep me alive and fund the 2 turn win-con.
Aside from that, I'm just looking to strike the right balance between survivability and mana creation.
Perhaps there's a place for a copy or two of
Walk the Plank
in here...
