Shaman of the forgotten ways doesnt work with freed or pemmins.

Finale of Devastation is hands down the best x spell one could use because it is useful at all stages of the game as search, reanimate, and win con.

Thrasios, Triton Hero, Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy, Urza, Lord High Artificer, and Syr Konrad, the Grim are great payoffs even though they aren't x spells because they just let you win on the spot with infinite mana.

I would also suggest adding in the 1 drop mana dorks so you get your engines up and running faster

So I had devastation in originally but other than as a win con what would itd mid or early game use be?

There's not really a creature we'd want to tutor for? Its a tutor for bloom. Tender or selvala but they're just zaxara back ups.

I would totally use it as ramp with either of those if there isn't anything else to do with your turn. It is also great for the other cards I mentioned. I would honestly drop the nyxbloom ancient, kruphix, mana reflection, and zendikar resurgent because when you are trying to go infinite it is just win more.
