Hmmm... They both seem decent, Shusher especially. They would clearly go in the sideboard, but in place of what?

probably Dark Betrayal or Deathmark . Both seem ok, but don't really add a huge amount more than the removal you already have.

That's true. OK, I think I'll pull out them for 2x Vexing Shusher against control. Thank you!

I think you need more spells that can deal with Oblivion Ring or spells like it, or even a Pithing Needle either would seriously threaten your deck. Currently your 2x Maelstrom Pulse is your only solution. You may want to up the count at the very least. May also want to consider Fist of Suns in addition to/rather than Quicksilver Amulet to both mitigate a Pithing Needle
Personally I love a deck that runs Emrakul... I run him quite handily in The Source Wall

UrbanAnathema: Thanks for the suggestion. I've thought about Fist, but decided against using it. There's just too many situations where I wouldn't be able to use it, seeing how I'd need 3 dorks out...
I've also got 2x Abrupt Decay , which have worked quite well. Needle and Ring can stop an Amulet (Assuming I don't blow up one of them.) but are nothing against an end-step Summoning Trap .

Didn't see the Abrupt Decay for some reason. 4 answers should definitely suffice. Have you considered Fauna Shaman ?

I didn't know Fauna existed. It seems decent, but I don't know what I'd take out for it. I mean, I already have more fatties than I do ways to get them out. (8 fatties, 7 creature hacks) So I don't think the ability to tutor for them losing other creatures is worth it, while also having to pull something else out. The most likely candidate would be Desecration Demon , but he fits this deck well.

With Leyline of Sanctity I would say run 4 and take out Creeping Corrosion or Leyline of the Void or Pithing Needle .

dsagent, can you tell me why I need to be THAT paranoid against burn?

Looks fun, I like it! Summoning Trap is just hilarious.

Maybe it is because Red is very popular where I live while graveyard decks like living end hardly exists.

nosohryuforyou, thanks! Playing it recently, it hasn't been doing all that well though, I've been thinking about dropping black and adding blue. Thoughts?
dsagent, my meta changes with every passing week, the only thing that's consistently there is Twin. Also remember that if I don't have Leyline in the opening hand, I need 2 dorks to get it out, which are usually destroyed by Lightning Bolts anyways.

I don't really play Modern, so I don't know much about what is or isn't strong in the format. But what about going more heavily into black? You could play 4 of each Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek , and/or, say, Wrench Mind . Maybe a utility creature like Gatekeeper of Malakir ?

I ,love those kinds of cards, but there's not much I'm willling to drop for them. This isn't one of those deckz that focus on getting everyone's hands empty; this focuses on dropping Suzie McFluffyBunnies (Mai name for Emrakul) as soon as possible, and everything here is made to do that either more quickly, or without error.
I'm considering lowering black a bit if anything, so I can also have blue. This gives me access to Remand to slow them down (Since this deck is so slow) and draw cards for myself for the win cons. Also, Snapcaster Mage flashbacking Summoning Trap seems really good. Or Abrupt Decay , or anything really.

Vexing Shusher is the first card that comes to mind. That and Autumn's Veil .
