Progenitus Eternal Brawl [2009 A]

Taking some of my favorite parts from my Progenitus Commander deck and whittling them down to Brawl. It's hard to grok the enabler/payoff ratio when you need to get to WWUUBBRRGG, but at least I have an entire Standard environment to pull from as I figure it out.

The initial build was about ramping to Progenitus and then protecting it, but that's just asking to curve into a sweeper and lose everything. So the curve is more about being a Jund+Bant deck with a few five-color things to tie it together; if Progenitus happens, it happens.

I've abandoned working on this for now, but at least you can see the mana enablers available to make this work. If you really tricked out the mana base - the pain lands are available - you wouldn't need so much green ramp and could fit other things in the deck maybe. Mirror Entity wouldn't be bad for making the mana dorks huge in the late game. Also, don't go Jund-Bant. Pick two shards where at least two colors overlap; that will make things a lot easier. Naya-Bant or Jund-Naya is much more feasible than what I tried.
