There's Dragonshift you can use. Also Nivix Cyclops is hard to use in your deck, because you can't easily bust out 10/4 on them easily. Better off using AEtherling and I'd mainboard Jace, Memory Adept so you'd have a larger card advantage, more so since you'd discard your hand protecting Prognostic Sphinx . So you'd need something to even out the card lost. Dispel in sideboard is nice for vs control players, Gainsay if you want to counter the AEtherling in blue control.

Frostburn Weird where would you fit it? I mostly plan to bring it in against tougher aggro decks, I find Omenspeaker to be such a terrific hand fixer. AEtherling feels too mana intensive for this deck when I use it, outside of control when I run against that. Nivix Cyclops usually just does clean-up work after some turns of wear down with Spellheart Chimera , but I will give it some trys out of the deck.

Have you thought about Young Pyromancer ? With all the instants and sorcerys he could do a great deal of help both doing damage, or having chump blockers if things aren't going as planned.

hammerstrap Yes, I'm currently lacking a playset though. I still want to fit Frostburn Weird in the 75, as he is such a great aggro stomper, but I'm not sure how to adjust the sideboard to fit the 4 of.

Have you thought about making the Prognostic Sphinx into AEtherling or Stormbreath Dragon ?

Prognostic Sphinx has become my favorite card of the set. Beats almost as hard as Stormbreath Dragon , and is castable on turn 5 and still able to be protected, unlike AEtherling who is turn 7 or later. Sphinx's Scry 3 is immensely powerful, set up my next draw or Steam Augury . I've even won games attacking with Sphinx and Spellheart Chimera , and using the scry to get rid of all non-instants to make Steam Augury win-win with Spellheart Chimera .

Every time I play against Steam Augury, it seems that I can force the card they need into the graveyard. You might try Thoughtflare even tho it's 1 more mana since you get to decide which cards to keep, and maybe another Jace.

Steam Augury is just a personal favorite of mine. I almost always get something I want, or just gain enough card advantage to make it not matter.

I love your deck, definitely a +1 from me. It's so REFRESHING to find someone else who sees the merit of Prognostic Sphinx over AEtherling . Turn 5 drop that you can protect without using mana sums it up great, that's something I will bring up when I discuss these two cards and their pros/cons. I've found the Scry 3 ability to be an absolute game changer when combined with a draw mechanic, so much so in fact that I've built my FNM tourney deck around it: Prognostic Control
Tell me what you think about my Azorius Control deck built around Prognostic Sphinx , I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the build.
That being said, I don't have any suggestions other than maybe finding a replacement for Spellheart Chimera if it doesn't playtest well. I had a deck built around the goat-man myself and hated it, but that's just me.

Thanks for the deck love! I've found that Spellheart Chimera has a lot of subtle interaction in this deck. With 20 instants, I have a lot of fodder for it, in addition to Steam Augury making it so any instants that hit the graveyard aren't completely gone to waste, but I can discard more with Prognostic Sphinx after attacking to throw more fuel in the fire.
I've even used Jace, Memory Adept to mill myself to squeeze the last few points of damage in.
