Good idea for BG deck. I like this color and practise BG Varolz, the Scar-Striped Dredge. Tryed to play Erebos, God of the Dead in Sideboard, but failed in all times. Maybe it better be exchanged for more fast and usefull card?

Dude I love the deck, it gives me great ideas for mine! If I could reccomend one card, it would be Essence Harvest. It's an immediate wincon, and almost always guaruntees a win. If you want to check mine out, it's so many counters!!, though I'm on more of a budget than you are, so it's not quite as impressive. +1 from me!

I tried Essence Harvest and it just doesn't impress me. I have enough lifelink with the Whip and the Sheltering Words. And Jarad nukes all enemies. It's all a matter of "is this card worth taking up one or more slots in my deck?"

This deck is awesome and I ended up making a deck based off of it, but went on a little cheaper route with some cards. it seems to be a little slow. Would you mind giving it a look? For some reason though it wouldn't create a link to my deck. +1 btw

I found that Simic can be just as good a deck. This one I'm posting should be very suitable if you like the colors. Try it out! You Have How Many Heads?!

I'd look into Solidarity of Heroes and Bioshift

hey man, fun deck. I took it for a few spins. Its definitely fun, it feels like wielding a massive heavy axe or something. so many ways to connect for massive amounts of pain. It feels a bit top heavy though. corpsejack menace in particular felt a bit slow and greedy. a bit 'win-more' perhaps. the hydras are so beastly that your main worry is probably getting the board into a place where you can connect with that massive crushing blow.

i'm looking at the cmc graph and the big drop-off at the 3s is probably what i was feeling. a bit of ramp and early removal and then theres a bunch of dead space before the massive kalonian axe drops. if i were tuning this bad boy, i would look at three drops. liliana is the easy one, but there might be something more spicy that fits your theme better!

I could possibly drop 2x Corpsejack for 2 Scourge of Skola Vale. I'll have to test it out.

im not sure 'more hydras' is the answer that smells like what the rock wants to be cookin, but either way, that is definitely the slot and spacing i brought up, good luck! smash some faces with some 16/16 tramplers!

I love it. I love Rock decks in general, one of my own using Desecration Demon and Predator Ooze. The Hydras are awesome, so +1 from me.

Dudddeeeeee, get Bioshift in there. Comboed with Corpsejack, you can get doubling going quick AND it's a one drop instant. Can end the game so quickly.

I have a.. thing, I guess you could say that I don't do colors outside of the two colors I put in the deck. Even though it's Blue OR Green, Blue is still in it.. So that's why I don't.. :b. But you can if you want! :D

You can use it as a green though? Only makes sense since this isn't a Commander, but to one his own! I rep 4 Bioshifts in my Hydra Harvest deck.
