So this deck was my pride and joy playing standard with the Ravnika and Theros blocks. it was quite fun to play and was pretty competitive in my local meta. As I am getting back into Magic again I do not want this deck to go to waste and I want to revamp it to be somewhat competitive in modern. But I have never played the format and I am unsure of what to expect. I would like as much help as possible to resurrect this deck.

The original idea was based around tap/untap effects. I would have proactive main phases then have plenty of fuel for controlling my opponents board state on their turn if I manage to keep Prophet of Kruphix out. And if I got to their end step with manna to spare then i could drop cards that will put me even further ahead.

Elvish Mystic, Sylvan Caryatid, and Kiora's Follower provided some light ramp to get to where I needed to be mana wise. Retraction Helix was a great way to control my opponents board and is extremely cheap. Oracle's Insight provided solid card advantage. And Kiora's Follower allows for repetition with these effects. Now if you could attach them to Arbiter of the Ideal .... things got nasty pretty fast. Kiora, the Crashing Wave helps slow my opponent or protect prophet from being dealt damage.

All of this worked great in standard but i realize that the meta for modern is a different ball game... any and all recommendations are highly appreciated! Any help could allow me to make my favorite deck playable once again!
