STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS, HAVEN'T TESTED YET.
[Prophetic Flamespeaker]] is an awesome card, and has the potential to quickly end games. Combine that with mono red aggro, the opponent is under a lot of pressure, and the game is over and out of control fast (ideally).
IMPORTANT: Two things make him so good. 1) Double strike creates a second combat step, so I can play spells before the regular combat damage is dealt2) Double strike deals damage twice, so that's two cards exiled, and two cards I can play that turn.
As you can imagine, there are a ton of possibilities and ways two work with these rules and the cards in hand to play TONS of combat tricks, deal lots of damage, and gain (fake) card advantage.
The idea is to focus the deck around him, while still making it a decent deck for when I don't draw him. This is done through the use of herioc creatures like
Akroan Crusader
and
Satyr Hoplite
so I still have good targets for my pump spells.
Burning-Tree Emissary is great to play out of my hand, and awesome to play with Prophetic Flamespeaker's ability.
Firefist Striker
and Madcap Skills both help him get through uncontested if wanted.
Again, this deck was made without playtesting, so the numbers of everything will likely change, except the 4 Prophetic Flamespeakers of course haha.
