This all started as a Clue deck but has evolved from there. See my decks for various prototypes I went through lol.
Mechanized Production
+
Prophetic Prism
are the wincon and the rest just stalls and searches, I've been ripping apart modern decks with this deck so I've been considering proxying out the 4c Saheeli and Mardu Vehicles to check out if it works out. Decking myself is my main loss source which is why Commit 2 Memory is going to be included soon.
Engulf the Shore
is a beast, this deck had a lot more creature control but honestly Engulf does almost all the heavy lifting, so I've been inserting other types of answers. I don't run a lot of lands (I don't even mulligan really, all I really need is two lands in hand for a start. Outside of this card I don't really need more than three lands) didn't seem to need more than nine but I'm always upping the land count just for this monster.
Disperse
is a nice cheap slow down. All my return stuff is basically there to let me get to my better counter effects that are broad.
Inspiring Statuary
I run three copies and I feel it's too much, but I like to get it out by t5 so needs must. Ms. Most Often Found Dead in Hand Winner 2017 here folks. Once I get one out, the game is essentially over because after that it's all draw ramp and cheap control.
Disallow
+
Imprisoned in the Moon
were a very late add, and I don't know how I managed to survive before I found them. Originally this deck had way more creature control/draw ramp but Engulf solves every creature problem. You aren't running a decent standard control deck if you don't have these babies. 4/4 would bang again.
Anticipate
+
Take Inventory
awesome draw stuff. Nothing to see here lol. I prefer Anticipate early in the game, Inventory is better late game, but it's all good. Take Inventory is a great discard.
Confirm Suspicions + Mechanized Production
was the original impetus for this deck, but the draw ramp of
Prophetic Prism
was too good and let me cut down the draw ramp, which again, decking myself is such an issue lol. I haven't played this version of this deck yet but I'm putting these in as a last minute alt artifact spawn because sometimes I sneak a
Mechanized Production
on
Inspiring Statuary
or a one drop because that seems to not trigger instant board wipes as often. People really hate this deck, it has warped the heck out of my meta. Everyone stopped playing standard decks against this and started playing Modern decks. And now it's crazy control Modern decks, but I think I might be the best Blue Pilot in my lil pond so it generally ends up with me winning anyways or decking myself lol.
Leave in the Dust
is pricy but you can't argue with target nonland permanent lol. The real last remaining card draw counter I have just because if I hit a lull in my decks it gives me a bit of gas. I would be most likely to cut this on the next revision. Although honestly now that the rotation is going down I have another deck idea to Approach lol
I really like
Renegade Map
, it's a one drop, it helps with getting me islands for engulfing purposes, it also counts as mana off of
Inspiring Statuary
. I tend to not sac it if I have more than six lands, I'm pretty much going to draw into the land soon, so might as well keep it for tapping purposes.
Select for Inspection
may have to go, I never use it often enough, but I like to Scry 1.
Universal Solvent
is there for lulz, I've only had it in for three games, sometimes I put MechPro on it, but I've never sacced a token while laughing maniacally. Which is why I have it here so once I do that, I'll decide if keeping is a thing.
Drag Under
is also on the chopping block for a different counter. I need more hard counters so I'm thinking of actually going for the cheap edge case ones. Until I do, this is here more for the draw one stall.

Ornithopter
is a pretty obvious thing I think.
