I'd recommend removing as many lands as possible that enter the battlefield tapped. It really helped with the speed of my Prossh deck.

Shared Animosity is a staple of both Prossh decks and Red Token decks. Domri Rade gives cheep Library Manipulation, potential removal, and if he goes ultimate all of your tokens become the best creatures ever. Scroll Rack is an EDH staple, but finding one for less than twenty bucks is super unlikely, so I can understand if you don't want to invest into one right now. Strip Mine is also an EDH staple, it punishes greedy mana bases, and deals with lands that simply do too much Ahem Cradle. Spoils of Victory can be cute with the Shocklands, but I'm not sure you really need it. Nice list!

Thanks nayrash5! Shared Animosity I will get along with Strip Mine in my next pickup. I usually find I don't need card advantage, and if I do, skull clamp works really well. Spoils of Victory got pulled. I can't believe Strip Mine is so cheap, especially with Wasteland as much as it is, and Shared Animosity dropped too. Thanks a ton!

My friend has a version of Prossh which we call target acquired Prossh. You just add things like Temur Battle Rage, Tainted Strike, and Triumph of the Hordes. Then you just kill one person early by one shotting them with Prossh.

FGKG123 I considered going that route, and I have many ways to do it, but that usually isn't my game plan. I found I could take someone out but then be a threat and be targeted after using resources to kill one person. So, I am going with more of a "Surprise! You are all dead" strategy. Works pretty well.

The one card I try to tutor for every game once my prossh gets online is Perilous Forays. I just put all my basic lands AND lag/shocks lands into play. (In the rulings on perilous forays, it says you can do that). You seem to have the five duals and seven basics, which makes up to twelve lands you can have from it in your case. I implore you to try it out--its a bulk uncommon.

I would definitely cut Mycoloth. Its too much of a hit if it gets killed right away. Creakwood Liege is another card I'd cut but Dragonlair Spider is really good in a multiplayer game. Sarkhan Vol and Helm of Possession are good cards because you can ac the creature before the opponent gets his creature back, I strongly recommend those 2 cards.

goodair The three you mentioned are the first three I will cut once I get the new pre con for the various broken things in there. I played several steal effects when I first made the deck, but I found them to inefficient but those two seem like the cream of the crop for that effect. I will try out the two of those for sure, sarkhan has been at the back of my mind for a while.

Ill look through your list again later on, there's some cards on there I used to run but it really depends on who your playing against. My friends tend to play aggressive decks or just cards that punish you for relying on key pieces.
January 24, 2016 11:58 p.m.
Dragon Throne of Tarkir is a card I'm thinking about putting back in, either that or Pathbreaker Ibex like you suggested.

Ok, so i was taking a look at your list again. Your deck varies from mine a lil because you run a ton of tutors. Birthing Pod might be a card you would like. proshh -> avenger -> behomoth
Deathbringer Thoctar, I used to run him but ended up cutting him because he was sorta slow, if he was a lower cmc it would prob be worth running but he just sat in my hand most of the time.
Yavimaya Elder, he does have value but having the lands not go directly into play is why I didnt bother running him. You have loads of ramp and can afford to cut him if your not running loads of reanimation.
Ashnod's Altar, my prossh deck is very color intensive and I had very few mana sinks. It might work for your deck but i personally would run another sac effect if that what your using it for.

goodair Thanks for looking it over again! Birthing Pod is probably the next card on my list, I have been looking at it for a while now. I agree with you on Deathbringer Thoctar, that and him being 6 drop is making him come out too late to be useful.Yavimaya Elder I've found to be really good, he made the cut over Primal Growth for the time being. Running only 35 lands means I do need about this much ramp, but he is probably the worst of the lot. Ashnod's Altar is stupidly busted, it allows to to do stupid things after you cast prossh. Give it another try, you'll be surprised. It alone nearly goes infinite with prossh, you just need the colored mana.

Id rather run Food Chain over Ashnod's Altar If your looking to go inifinte with prosh and then kill them with your tokens + another card, this card is just straight up better. I don't really see any cards where infinite mana could be used that is not towards more creatures.

goodair Food Chain is both expensive and i lose points for playing it/ going infinite in my playgroup. I don't actually go infinite with Ashnod's Altar because I don't have Phyrexian Altar so it is both a good sac outlet and ramp card.

Ah, that's awesome. I been wanting to do a point system but haven't really got to make one yet. What do you do with yours?

goodair points for 1st, 2nd, third, etc, as well as killing a player, first blood, attacking for 30+ damage, saving someone, all kinds of stuff. Whatever makes it fun and evens it out to the player who is playing some dumb fast combo deck and knocks out the guy with the pre con.

my playgroup has chosen not to run infinities, otherwise it is an obvious choice rabidbeast94.

If you want to alpha strike your opponents: Triumph of the Hordes and Tainted Strike
Evolutionary Leap is great to find your creatures
Insurrection is easily one of the strongest cards for prossh, after you hit with everything you can just sac all your opponent's creatures, it's nasty
Tempt with Vengeance and Tempt with Discovery are solid cards everywhere
Seeing how many creatures you have, I'm not sure about Crux of Fate, but it is a pretty good card as well
Fresh Meat is great after boardwipe, but even if that doesn't happen, sacrificing your 0/1's for 3/3's is awesome
Utvara Hellkite can easily win by himself, having a dragon as general can also helps out a lot

kylar_ Thanks for the suggestions!
I have some alpha strike cards, but I dislike using all my resources to take out one person, it just feels bad to me. Especially since i often die after doing that before i untap.
Evolutionary Leap i pulled because it always feels slow to me.
Insurrection i am actively trying to get.
i might get a Tempt with Discovery, but usually I'm not too worried about lands by the time i have 4 mana it is fine by me to just cast explosive veg or claim as that lets me cast prossh the next turn.
Tempt with Vengeance was cut because i usually do not need more tokens than what prossh gives me.
Crux i cut because i have yet to find a board state where i wanted to board wipe with this deck.
Fresh Meat was cut because it was always dead in my hand.
Utvara Hellkite is a good finisher but i have ones like craterhoof that are faster.
Thanks for your suggestions! also what are the next cards you would recommend cutting?

I like this deck! +1 from me. Vicious Shadows seems interesting, but can whiff if that player lacks cards in hand. Sarkhan Vol or Vraska, Relic Seeker are 2 cards that will help your deck. Jarad's Orders is another suggested cut, because the deck doesn't care about filling the graveyard. Consider Phyrexian Arena or Golgari Findbroker . In my Prossh deck, I have Gatecreeper Vine because I needed something for 2 mana.
