Creature (4)

Planeswalker (3)

Instant (6)

Sorcery (2)

So here is the theory. How beatable can a 5/5 flier on turn 3 really be?

If you can get the Master of the Feast out before most removal, then you can protect him till a victory!

And the weakness being removal that can't be countered. Hence the two Boon of Erebos .

Your opponents will say "Why won't you let me kill him?!"

I had a good night. I feel like in the tempo race I may try out the ole Desecration Demon it might just be a deal sealer.

Round 1: 5C Good Stuff; 2-1

Only lost one round here because I wasn't smart and let him Sphinx's Revelation for 6 I think, when I had Notion Thief in hand, but tapped out my mana such that I couldn't cast it.

Round 2: BUG Mind Grind; 2-0

Pretty much preyed on this list. Because he had mill type spells they took up some of the draws he could have had for removal. And my suite of main deck counter spells shined here.

Round 3: RG Monsters; 0-2

This guy finished first. He is usually the Top Dog at our store, even if he plays janky stuff. In this case it was a legitimate deck and he piloted it very well.

Round 4: Mono R Burn; 2-1

Only thing that got me here was in Game 2 I kept a one land hand with a Thoughtseize, on the draw turn 1. I thought that would be the right play and it turned out to be a mistake. Especially against an aggressive burn strategy.

Everything performed well. Everything contributed to wins or progress on damage throughout the matches. I do think ole DD might be the turn four back-breaker though.
