I quite love this deck, it was built around the powerhouses of the deck: Charmbreaker Devils and Mercurial Geists . Using a bunch of low cost spells the powerhouses increase their power by 4 and 3 respectively. Using Slip Through Space I can better ensure that three spells deep my Charmbreaker Devils will deal 16 damage w/o being blocked; hopefully delivering a winning blow.

But wait, there is more! I can't help myself, I enjoy a good gamble and love playing with the Sift Through Sands trio to bring out The Unspeakable , even though other spells may be better.

Lastly is the spells themselves: they were chosen to be low CMC draw cards so that when i cast three a turn to active prowess, they will replace themselves. Additionally Talrand, Sky Summoner and Young Pyromancer ensure I get the most bang from my spells by spamming monsters, and Niblis of Frost buys me an extraordinary amount of time to gather my Sift Through Sands trio.

CONCERNS: I need at least 4 mana to be good, 6 preferably so that I can play my 3 highest CMC cards. However the only "mana ramp" I have is my draw card spells. And my spells are needed literally everywhere, to tap creatures, to create my own creatures, to increase the power of my creatures, to summon The Unspeakable , and to literally just draw cards. I am considering replacing a few cards w/ a more powerful draw card.

I know the unspeakable seems silly, but with 4 land and a Goblin Electromancer and of course some luck, I will of drawn a few cards, either made some creatures, locked them down, or built up my prowess on a Mercurial Geists AND now The Unspeakable is on the field. Who will also return my arcane spells from my graveyard.
