Welcome Back!
"What is Prowess of Elimination?" is what you're probably asking yourself. Well its exactly what it says. Yes I know this deck has probably been made before, but I came up with this deck idea while my friend LiveForChaos and I were testing out a cube. Monastery Swiftspear was the first card that I had drafted. I always wondered why Monastery was so good, but I never actually looked at it.
After I figured it out, I had to make a deck around this. Now, again, I know that this deck has probably been made before, so don't kill me about it. I took this Monastery and Stormchaser Mage and took some cards from the deck $5 Infect, and from the deck Glasscannon - AKA: "Skittles", to make this beautiful deck. This deck is still in production, so if anyone has any suggestions, please comment!
Creatures
There are only two creatures in this deck, so you will have to mulligan until you get one of them. There is good to only having 2 creatures in this deck. This will almost guarantee that you will not run into another creature when drawing cards.
The first Creature in this deck is Monastery Swiftspear. This is the base card for the deck. The reason that this card is good is because whenever you cast a non-creature spell, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn. This is very good because playing it for 1 mana, you can cast two spells next turn giving it +2/+2 on top of any boost spells that you use.
The second Creature in this deck is Stormchaser Mage. This card could be told as equals with Monastery Swiftspear. I say this because it cost 2, but it has Haste and Flying. The reason that I would emphasise the flying because not many people have protection from flying early game. So with the flying, you have almost guaranteed damage to their face!
Buff Spells
There are two major groups in the Buff Spells Category.
Boost Spells
Might of Old Krosa/Groundswell These are the main cards boost cards that you want to use when boosting your creatures. These are the biggest and cheapest boosts for what they do.
Brute Force/Giant Growth These cards are the backup boost spells. If you happen to not grab one of the bigger cards, you can use these. These obviously aren't the best, but they will suffice for what you need.
Blossoming Defense I found this card actually searching for protection spells. This is a very interesting card because it is a boost and protection for 1 mana. I added this card for a backup backup card in the boost section.
Assault Strobe This card is the one of the main boost spells in this deck. This is going to be the most effective card in your deck. If you have to wait until turn 3 to play two Might of Old Krosa/Groundswell with an Assault Strobe, you will win.
Protection Spells
Apostle's Blessing This card is the main form of protection in this deck. If you don't know why, it is because of its mana cost. You can play 1 colorless mana to play this spell. Even though you pay 2 life, in the long run, it will help you get the best protection and if you chose the right color, your creature will be Unblockable.
Aqueous Form This card is just an additional protection card and a sight spell. If your creature is Unblockable and you can scry every time you attack, you will be given the advantage. Yes you might only get to scry 2 times, but it is definitely useful to see what you could get.
Blossoming Defense This card is also in the Protection category because of its usefulness. Giving your creature Hexproof while power boosting it is actually very powerful.
Any and all help is appreciated
