The guildmages of Izzet/Boros/Azorius ally with the Jeskai monks for some nasty non-creature spell combos. Almost all creatures benefit from the board controlling instants and sorceries. Hypervolt Grasp triggers multiple prowess each turn when low on cards.

Sunforger is able to tutor most of the deck, including board control like Supreme Verdict which can come in handy should the opposition grow too strong, especially if Legion's Initiative is out to protect the own.
