Background: This deck is by far my favorite EDH deck to play! Originally created back in 2018, this was the 3rd commander deck I designed after coming back to MTG. The predecessors were a zombie tribal mill deck that everyone hated, cause you know it's mill lol, and a cat tribal equipment deck that didn't perform as well as I wanted. So I decided to design a deck on my favorite style of play. This deck is a throw back to the days when I first started playing standard FNM at the local LGS and destroyed the competition during the original Innistrad and Return to Ravnica blocks.

Annoyed with hitting 50 minute round limits, slow playing control decks and midrange discard decks of the time, I wanted to brew a fast hard hitting deck that wasn't red deck wins. What I came up with was a Bant/hexproof/auras that was devastating. The build was using Geist of Saint Traft and Invisible Stalker as base creatures; Ethereal Armor, Rancor, Spectral Flight as base auras; throw in a few Loxodon Smiter's for defenders, 6 mana dorks, and a couple of instant cast pumps and you got yourself a deck that slaps! Nothing was more satisfying then turn 3-5 scoops or wins, 15 minute rounds and "discarding" a Loxodon Smiter to those expensive Liliana of the Veils.
