This is my first attempt at creating a deck to support a single card. The star is Mindshrieker.
Thanks to some help from members here, I have recently revised this deck concept and believe it will work much better now. Here's some key cards within the deck and how to use them.
Mindshrieker - For 2 mana, this card pumps to a CMC of the top card in any library. So, at 4 mana, you can double this pump, so on, so forth...Add the fact that it has Flying and after sufficient pumping, this card should win the match.
Blightsteel Colossus - Don't get excited, we won't actually be seeing this on the battlefield, but we will be using this to pump the Mindshrieker.
Darksteel Plate - Protect your investment! Attach this to the Mindshrieker!
Mystical Tutor, Worldly Tutor - Get the tutor you need, and get the creature you need, respectively. Also helps get the Colossus on the top of your library.
Augury Owl, Second Sight, Brainstorm, Mwonvuli Beast Tracker - Four options for making sure the Colossus is in place to pump the Mindshrieker.
Twiddle, Turnabout - In case you run low on mana.
Altogether, I think this deck is pretty solid now, but there's always room for improvement, so if you have any ideas of cards that could make this better, please share. Also, I would like to see if this deck concept could be made modern legal, so can it happen? Tell me, oh wise mages =P
