When I saw Hallar, the Firefletcher , I immediately was interested in making a deck for him. However, the kick mechanic is not a very well supported build and a majority of the cards that can be kicked are not particularly great. Instead of trying to kick as many cards as possible, I figured it would be more efficient to put in cards that focused on putting more +1/+1 counters onto Hallar. Since He has trample, it only benefits the deck to get him as big as possible and then cast instant speed kicked spells either via actual instants or using Yeva, Nature's Herald and/or Vivien, Champion of the Wilds . My priority for the deck was to make it as effective as I could while maintaining my budget within a relatively affordable range. I managed to keep it around 350 which I'd qualify as budget based off of the costs of the majority of decks on the site.
