I'd drop the Murmuring Phantasms for Fog Bank . I'd drop Spell Rupture, seeing as you don't have many high power creatures other than Aetherling and maybe eventually Cloudfin, both of which would be more mid-late game oriented, in which case you'd probably have the extra 1 mana open for a more reliable counter like Dissipate, or even just swap it for an extra Negate seeing as you have anti-creature already in Essence Shatter and Unsummon. If you want early-game creature spell counter, maybe go for Syncopate .

i dropped spell rupture for another Negate so thank you for the advice but as far as Fog Bank and Dissipate im trying to stay just in RTR block or known cards that will be reprinted in m14.

Mono blue doesn't work. It is literally the worst type of deck you could play in standard

its gonna be mono blue/artifacts but their aren't any good artifacts in RTR im impressed with.

i do just not in tournaments if thats what you mean just play casual with friends and we have a rule that you cant make any of the main stream decks cause most of us are on a very low budget.

Not even tournaments really :/ honestly if you want to make a U/ Artifact deck do it for modern.

i dont think you understand i only play with a group of 10 or so friends so thank you very much for the advice but we only play standard and on a low budget so we just make the best decks we can with the cards we have.

How did it go?

good finished 3rd out of 19 with 10-2 but that was when this deck was blue white with Sphinx's Revelation x2 Hallowed Fountain x4 Render Silent x3 and 2 Shimmering Grotto x2

now me and my friends have an on going bet of who can make the best under $50 deck for standard and winner at the end of each set gets first dibs on are next booster box we buy. my chosen type is mono-blue/artifacts just cause its my favorite so any deck ideas would be great everyone! price is off of tcgplayer after optimizer.

I'm currently building a mono-blue/artifact deck slightly based off of this... I'll let you know what I come up with.

not bad only thing i would change is add some Illusionist's Bracers for test subject and doorkeeper.
