This is the list that eventually came out of my Experimental Puresteel Party, which was posted 5/22/11. I played it a few dozen times, making small changes as I went, and eventually trading out the cheap for the heavy, to give myself a little more long game. I like the Everflowing Chalice over the Mox Opal most of the time, even though it seems counter-intuitive; the legendary status of the opal can cramp one's style. Having them both is even better! Sun Titan is HUGE! Darksteel Plate isn't very good in most decks, but it shines here. I have to admit, though, I wish I still had room for Darksteel Relic . I still have a special place for it in my darksteel heart. Blah blah, 24 lands, I know. The opals and the chalices and the free equips and the low curve all help out.
