This deck is a labor of love and I'm constantly changing it. Mostly a collection of my favorite cards in Boros. It's more fun than good. It used to also have Heliod, God of the Sun but he didn't really fit.

Basically this deck wants to take Boros weenies and have them do ETB damage with Purphoros and then use Iroas to power them on the attack. Vexing Devil is just an overpowered one drop and this deck needed that. Kytheon also serves that purpose and then becomes a 4/4 when he flips or helps keep combat damage from hitting you. Insolent Neonate is a good value one drop and helps you discard land or duplicate legendary creatures when you don't need them. Raise the Alarm and Dragon Fodder make weenies but can do 4 damage a piece with Purphoros out. Kari and Brimaz are nice for the 2-3 drop range and make even more creature tokens. Boros Reckoner does so much for the cost of 3 mana and helps a lot with devotion for your gods. Odric basically wins you the game if you can attack with a few creatures. Lightning Helix is just so much fun and can help keep you alive while you burn away their creatures. Boros Charm can be a finisher or keep your creatures alive. Wind-Scarred Crag is a bummer that it comes in tapped but I needed the mana fixing and wanted to keep the cost down. I wanted to create a deck that feels like a true Boros deck and this fulfilled that for me. It's a lot of fun!
