Nice deck.
Few suggestions: cut Young Pyromancer for Guttersnipe, add Impact Tremors, Urza's Incubator/Semblance Anvil(for Grinning Ignus), and Leyline of Punishment.
Things like Molten Influence or Vexing Devil can be very useful too.

I definitely will add Impact Tremors to the deck! I'd forgotten about that one, thanks. Incubator and Anvil are cool especially with Grinning Ignus I'm just not sure I want to use a card slot just in case I draw both out of a 100 card deck. I'm still putting it together, buying crap, but once I do I'll keep those in mind though in case it turns out I really need 'em. I'll probably throw Guttersnipe in there too at some point, I'll know more once it's actually playable. Thanks you for the suggestions!

You might like some card draw like Skullclamp, Rummaging Goblin, Viashino Racketeer, Temple Bell, Otherworld Atlas, Bottled Cloister, Well of Discovery, Wheel of Fate, Faithless Looting, Daretti, Scrap Savant, Credit Voucher, Memory Jar, Howling Mine, Mind's Eye, Mind Stone, or Dreamstone Hedron.
You may want Cloudstone Curio and/or Conjurer's Closet to help abuse ETB effects.
You may want some red control like Grip of Chaos, Warp World, Vandalblast, Planar Chaos.
For token shitting, you might like extra damage with Pandemonium and Warstorm Surge. You also might like upgrading your tokens for things you see around the board with Confusion in the Ranks. Another good one is Invasion Plans.
You might like Haunted Fengraf, Blasted Landscape for the cycling, Myriad Landscape, Madblind Mountain and maybe Buried Ruin.
Maybe just for kicks you might like Creepy Doll, Bearer of the Heavens, Radiate, Goblin Bomb, Risky Move, Druidic Satchel, Illicit Auction, and Insurrection.
Cool deck!

Wow, thanks man. There's some good shit in there. I might throw in some of those chaos cards, especially since I've already got 'em. I'm not sure I need THAT much draw but I'll definitely look into replacing some of what I have and put it all in the next update. Thank you for the suggestions! I really appreciate it.

These may not be extremely relevant.. but they should go well with this deck, use them however you like.. Akroma's Memorial and Eldrazi Monument.

Archwing Dragon over Thundermaw Hellkite IMO. This is going to be the next deck I build and I think I'm going to try out Thopter Assembly too just as an alternate win con for the likes of Iona.

I'd just like to share a few ideas I've had while building my own version of this. Loxodon Warhammer works great with Purphoros and is one of the few ways mono red can obtain lifelink.
Genesis Chamber and Altar of the Brood are two nice little cheapies that almost demand an answer in a deck like this.
And since it's starting to get obvious that my deck has moar facts (like the Skullclamp idea was brilliant), I also threw Myr Incubator in there as well for moar shenanigans.
My deck is still in the early stages but I can already tell this is going to make a mess. Now do I put Heartless Hidetsugu in or not...
June 26, 2015 2:26 a.m.
Soul_Power I like Skullclamp a lot, I'm not sure why I didn't put it in mine. Otherwise, I try to steer clear of artifacts a lot of times just because my meta has a lot of hate for them. That and I swear everyone runs a Hellkite Tyrant. With that said, if your meta doesn't hate artifacts like mine does, those are all great adds. As for Heartless Hidetsugu, I love that guy, I even had a hidetsugu deck when I first got in to EDH, but he can bite you in the ass a lot of times. So the safe bet would be to not run him, but the balls-to-the-wall move is to run him and those damage doubling cards. Archwing Dragon is awesome but I dont like that he doesn't stay on field, it lets you abuse Purphoros' trigger more but at the cost of 4 mana I would rather be able to have something stay and block or put out more that 1 creature. Plus, a few guys in my playgroup have almost exclusively flying creatures in their decks so Thundermaw Hellkite helps me get through.
cid7707 Moggcatcher is great for pure goblin decks, but since he himself doesn't deal a whole lot of damage or draw, I left him out so I could put something that would hurt more into that spot.

wait, no Dictate of the Twin Gods? Also, Sulfuric Vortex is a must. Bitter Feud or Curse of Bloodletting if you want to really hurt someone in particular. Fire Servant?
It's kinda slow, but Akroan Horse drops a weenie for you (and each opponent) each turn, so it's kinda meh, but does what it does.
Flame Rift? You gotta pack a Skullcrack, just in case someone tries healing through the burn.

Oh, and if you're trying to REALLY win the Beingadick Championship Belt, play Heartless Hidetsugu (just make sure you have an odd-numbered life total)

Thopter Assembly, Chandra's Spitfire, Flameshadow Conjuring, Vicious Shadows, Dictate of the Twin Gods. Check out my own Purphoros deck for more suggestions. +1'd.

Burn at the Stake is amazing. Firecat Blitz is great to trigger purphoros's ability and Foundry Street Denizen is good too. check out my deck for further suggestions.+1 me and i'll +1 you. Wow, lots of feedback, thanks everyone! With that said, a lot of the suggested cards (I'm not gonna list them all out 'cause I'm feeling lazy) focus on the burn type of stuff, which is awesome, but not really what I'm going for. I like burn a lot but it's just never been very reliable for me. Fire Servant was a clear oversight on my part though as was Burn at the Stake. So I'm def gonna put those in ASAP. Some of the other cards suggested seemed like they would probably work, and since I've either got them or they're pretty cheap I'll probably test them out and maybe put them in permanently. There were also a lot of cards suggested to prevent life gain, while that could be super useful, no one in my play group runs life gain except for one and even that one only kinda so it didn't seem worth a card slot. BTW I love Heartless Hidetsugu, but I'm not gonna run him. After my now disassembled Hidetsugu deck my whole playgroup freak any time they see him and it puts a huge target on me for the rest of the game, so I'll usually play Hidetsugu and lose a turn or two later since everyone now wants me dead and they'll actually work together to make sure that happens.
Thanks again everyone!

You might wanna take a look at Gratuitous Violence. It gives you 3 devotion by itself, and doubles all damage Puphoros deals. And looking at your lands, Ruination seems pretty strong too.

I myself hate black/blue decks and they almost always throw in the towel on turn three, or lose but turn 4 maybe turn 5 against my purphoros deck. Keep the fire's burning!!!

Vedalken Orrery and Sword of Feast and Famine, perhaps? Nothing scarier than playing against a burn deck that can drop bombs AND deal pretty significant damage at instant speed...
Again, not the most effective thing in the book, but if/when the game drags on, the orrery can be sweet in a build like this when you run into excessive lands.

Not sure of it's been suggested or not. But Pyromancer's Goggles would be brutal in this.

Also consider Lightning Berserker, abusing Dash is a pretty solid and consistent way to spend an extra mana.

Really cool! My Krenko deck has Phurporos as a win con, very cool deck, seems fun to play.
