Splinter twin or kiki-jiki paired with zealous conscripts is an infinite combo, also heat shimmer can pair into an infinite combo with zealous or dualcaster Mage.

Good calls Chandra_Ablaze_it_420 I need to pick up a Zealous Conscripts and Splinter Twin for those combos.
I like your idea Rorschach, but I find this deck does wonders in multiplayer battles and Curse of Bloodletting will only help against a single opponent. Think I'll pass on it for now.

Panharmonicon from Kaladesh releasing in a couple weeks is an auto include in this deck.

I recommend lowering your avg. CMC and letting this go bananas by turn 4, 5, or 6. One card, specifically, that could help is Mogg War Marshal. Replace him for Goblin Marshal. You get 2 less goblins, but are saving 2/3 of the mana for that switch alone.
At worst, Mogg War Marshal is another Krenko's Command or Dragon Fodder. I would just try to keep your CMC in mind, and try to play as efficiently and fast as possible.
You are more than welcome to look into my Purphoros, Forger of Goblins deck, and/or ask me any questions! I am always willing to help!

@ freakingShane: Agreed, lowering the CMC is the way to go. This deck is racing to kill everyone before they can stop it. Appreciate the suggestion of cutting expensive Goblin Marshal for Mogg War Marshal - Imma do it this weekend. Think I'll also replace Scour from Existence with Bonfire of the Damned.
You're right iAzire, Panharmonicon is bonkers in this deck. In fact, I added the card to Tapped Out when it was spoiled just so I could add it to this deck ;)
@ Mister_Monday: I considered Myr Battlesphere but I think the CMC's a bit high for what I'm going for. When I first made this deck I ran Dictate of the Twin Gods but I found I never played it. It seems like a great surprise finisher but I was always waiting for just the right moment and it was typically just a dead card in my hand I was hesitant to play.

Great call on replacing Scour from Existence. Don't get me wrong, a target exile that can be played in mono-red is nice, but 7 is steep to pay.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! :)

Thanks for the tips freakingShane. After some more tweaking, I've got the CMC down to 3.08 - pretty good with all the ramp I've included. Doesn't quite match your 2.76 but who can? ;)

Haha, that's still really good! Honestly, that 3 flat area is the gold area, so you should be proud! Get ready to smoke your opponents and show them who's boss. :D

Any chance of using Pyromancer's Goggles to double up on red token generators? And a little extra mana, too.
September 18, 2016 8:32 p.m.
Oooh, now that's interesting Icilio. I've got 19 instants and sorceries that Pyromancer's Goggles could potentially copy. It's just a bit expensive (to cast) and I'm aiming to lower my average CMC at the moment. I'll definitely keep it in mind going forward though.

The problem is you need some protection and/or removal/board wipes. Anyone have any ideas how to achieve this?

there is two of this card in your deck you need to take on out or it is not legal Pia and Kiran Nalaar

Altar of the Brood could be a nice alternate wincon in case damage prevention is activated.

@xJonahSlayerx: Yeah, card draw and removal are definitely key. For card advantage, Apex of Power, Dark-Dweller Oracle, Mind's Eye, Outpost Siege, Reforge the Soul and Skullclamp. For removal, I'm running Aligned Hedron Network, Blasphemous Act, Burn at the Stake, By Force, Goblin Bombardment and Vandalblast among others. Try sorting the deck by custom categories to see everything I have under Card Advantage and Removal.
@Neth: Hmmm, trade life for ? Yeah, I could see adding Treasonous Ogre. I'll have to pick one up.
@Shinkusenshi: I used to run Goblinslide in the early days of this deck. I really liked the idea of Goblinslide, but found in practice it added too little value compared to other cards that could take that card slot in the deck.
@iwhaleme: There's only 1 copy of Pia and Kiran Nalaar. I had the deck set to sort by custom categories, so it was showing that Pia and Kiran serve multiple roles in the deck, both generating tokens and dealing damage. I've changed the default sorting back to Type for clarity that cards aren't actually in there multiple times.
@SirFowler: Altar of the Brood's not a bad idea, I just have trouble thinking of what I'd cut to make room for it. I'll keep in in mind next time I find something to cut.

Love Purphoros, figure I'd share some of my findings from when I'd play him. When I put Purphoros together, felt like I really ran out of fuel too fast, so I changed up my mana rock and creature selection.
Mana Rocks : Hedron Archive Commander's Sphere Mind Stone (You're already using it figured id just put all of my ideas out) Coveted Jewel
The principle i'm applying here is I'm red, I run out of cards due to my low CMC, so at all points i need to be able to convert my field into more fuel. The last one Coveted Jewel is pretty easy to protect in such a crazy token deck as well.
Other Draw Effects : Prophetic Flamespeaker usually results in two cards, as he has double strike. Both him and Stromkirk Occultist are great, as youre trying to win via damage anyway. Commune with Lava Do Commune with Lava before your turn starts, usually in response to someone moving to their end step. Nets you a bunch of toys next turn. Vance's Blasting Cannons Flip Worse than outpost siege, but from my perspective I just dont care, as I want to draw cards lol.
I noticed there's not a lot of super strong removal or instant speed stuff so I figured I'd drop a few cards for those as well.
Volcanic Offering Volcanic offering in multiplayer usually results in two threats removed, and two lands removed. Seismic Strike (Assuming you just have lands, its 3 mana for 3 damage, and it gets better as time goes on.) Chain Reaction The majority of reds field wipes kind of suck, so im not sure how else to help you here. Less conditional than Aligned Hedron Network, and will hit very hard since you're a token based deck. Starstorm Instant speed, cycling, really good! Disaster Radius and Volcanic Vision are one sided. The last one lets you recur usually a good token spell as well, though ill admit its one of the weaker suggestions.
Although Purphoros is really, really strong against restrictive enchantment decks, I run a lot of enchantment removal and when you run against an azorius deck trying to ruin fun, i always wish I had them in my mono red decks.
Scour from Existence Every time I've cast this, it's saved me. As weird as it sounds and yes its 7 mana, but there are so many times I've been playing where I wished I had this or chaos warp, admittedly Chaos Warp is better, but you can only run one of them :(. Unstable Obelisk Meteor Golem He triggers purphoros too!

Hello, Nice list! As someone has pointed out, have you tried running Coveted Jewel? It is 3 mana=draw 3. You may protect it with tokens, destroy it or even funnier: steal it back with Treasure Nabber (which you can tutor with Goblin Matron or Goblin Recruiter). You may also be lucky to have a Panharmonicon on the field to draw 6. Also, what do you think about Idol of Oblivion, Jeska's Will and Valakut Exploration?

if you have a spot for him, Runaway Steam-Kin combos with Grinning Ignus. if you can bounce Ingus 3 times, it puts three counters on Steam-Kin, which you can then remove to bounce Ingus 3 more times... rinse and repeat. I have only gotten it a handful of times in my purphy build, but as long as no one has a counterspell you are pretty good.
