This deck is still under construction - criticisms welcome.
Still needs balancing! This deck is made from cards I have on hand, but Im still deciding what should be put in and taken away before buying/trading for any cards.
The plan is to get Akroan Crusader and Young Pyromancer out on the field early game - then have Purphoros, God of the Forge come in mid game and then start populating the field with tokens. Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Evangel of Heliod are in there for mid/late game, seeing as everytime Elspeth's +1 is activated, 6dmg is triggered from Purphoros.
Phalanx Leader, Anax and Cymede, and ogre Battledriver, are pretty much just there to buff the army.
Boros Reckoner holds his own pretty well, and is there to provide devotion to red and white for cards like - Purphoros, God of the Forge, Evangel of Heliod, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.
ogre Battledriver is there to make some mean tokens, as well as provide devotion.
Spear of Heliod is in here to buff the small army you will have, while providing devotion, as well as a little control.
Chained to the rocks is there to provide control and a little tiny bit of bonus devotion.
I know this deck can have a bit more synergy.
Thinking of pulling one or two of the instants, just to put in one more Akroan Crusader,Young Pyromancer, or Purphoros, God of the Forge.
I would like to put Molten Birth in to here, but Im unsure since it doesnt target anything. Then again, triggering Young Pyromancer and Purphoros, God of the Forge (for 6dmg) every time its played is nice.
Not sure I really need to have the Temple of Triumphs in there. Scry is nice, (and has helped!) but a land coming in tapped is slowing the deck down a little.
Not sure about having Evangel of Heliod in there either, he has great potential, but only if you have Purphoros, God of the Forge out, and your devotion is high enough. Thinking about trading him out for Molten Birth.
