Note: As of May 10, 2019, this stack has grown too big to put in a deck list, so I am continuing to make updates with it as a cube, here: https://tappedout.net/mtg-cube-drafts/purple-pile-of-people-eaters-1/

My Type 4 Stack on which construction started July 23, 2018. On this momentous day, a stack of mostly rares and mythics came together for the first iteration of this stack.

As of August of 2018, this stack also includes some one-of-a-kind playtest cards from the custom Magic set, Contenders: http://www.planesculptors.net/set/contenders-planeswalkers. The cards that are included are:

  • Raevel, Eternal Gardener (version 18)
  • Lykarev the Usurper (version 18)
  • Thaegen the Confined (version 19)
  • Ainsleigh of Corru River (version 18)
  • Ainsleigh of Corru River (version 19, who is completely reworked from version 18)
  • Zaina Shreen (version 18)
  • Peng Ping, the Curious (version 18, autographed by Tim Reilly, the set creator)
  • Har-Oha, Ifnir's Rising Fist (version 18)
  • Golmorn, Planar Judge (version 18)
  • Explore the Tombs (version 16)
  • Vectis Armory (version 17)
  • Barter of Bodies (version 16)
  • Thrashalanche (version 16)
  • Epharan Voyage (version 16)
  • Shelter of Larkland (version 16)
  • Twice Cooked (version 16)
  • Wazan Warwing (version 17)

A note on sleeves and pimping: While I do feel that it would be cool to use many foil cards in this Stack, I have sometimes intentionally not used a foil, where I could have, due to the current sleeves on this stack being UltraPRO Eclipse Royal Purple. The front of those sleeves tends to dull foils and make them look far more matte.

The In/Out log is only going to be used for modifications after the initial draft and will include results from playtesting the stack.

The name is a work in progress. Any recommendations that fit with the words "Purple" and "Pile" would be greatly appreciated. This stack has been formerly known as:

  • Purple Pile of Butt-Puckering Problems
