This deck is fun and locks your opponent down hard with the Notion Thief / Teferi's Puzzle Box combo. Basically, if you get Notion Thief, Teferi's Puzzle Box and Noetic Scales down, they get no cards each turn, you get them instead, and his board will be swept of creatures. Then you're free to kill him with the Thief and/or The Rack .

Sadly, the combo is slow to come out and any creatures he's cast in the meantime might be clobbering you. The walls and general B/U control deck theme are meant to keep you alive long enough for the combo to come out.

Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is an alternative win condition if you can get out a wall to protect her or simply clear the field with bounce and creature destruction.
