Welcome to complete control. Huge powerhouses and tons of zombies leads to quick dominance of the game and an enormous force to go against.
The star player: Shadowborn Apostle. These babies are the driving force of the entire deck. You can get out huge creatures within a very small amount of turns. The quantity is important so you can get 2+ of these beauties out per turn in the early game. You want to get Griselbrand out first so you can have the biggest creature with a constant flow of cards into your hand.
Xathrid Necromancer makes sacrificing your Shadowborn Apostles even more beneficial than getting a monster of a creature out. Now you have a powerhouse and 6 2/2 zombies on the fieldvery early game.
Immortal Servitude
makes it simple and quick to reuse your Shadowborn Apostle. They all come back to the field usually ready to hop their happy little asses back into the graveyard.
Reaper from the Abyss is an amazing kill card for controlling the battlefield. Something is dying nearly every turn with this deck so it is constantly being used. Automatic kills on your opponent or at worse one of your own Shadowborn Apostle but you get a 2/2 zombie for it anyways. Pure beauty.
Shadowborn Demon
is in here for a strictly instant kill card if your opponent has something out that is threatening you.
Lord of the Void allows for great damage that gets you even more creatures. Imagine stealing an Aurailia, the Warleader for two combat phases... Game over.
And
Desecration Demon
is great to draw early game to be able to play straight from your mana if you get unlucky with the draw.
