Yeah Hipparchos, this deck can certainly put the 'fun' back into the game if you have a too serious playgroup. If you start giving out lands, mana and card draw turn after turn, things start getting crazy funny, and the main task you have to concern yourself with is all the triggers you've got going off.
...and yes, I do keep the deck up to date on TappedOut.

Thanks to you, I'll purchase the deck this weekend. Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks for the positive comments, JoJaBi and Hipparchos.
Great to see that you're putting this deck together, Hipparchos, I think you'll enjoy playing it. Make sure you keep up with your Rainbow Vale, it tends to travel around a lot. /;-) (...although it does tend to come back to you every other turn)

I have 2 suggestions for you, maybe a third, but the third isn't truly group hug.
Firstly is Weird Harvest, which especially combos well with Hypergenesis. If this is too crazy a combo to handle, then this is where my third suggestion, The Great Aurora, comes in.

Thanks for the suggestions, TheRedGoat.
I got a Weird Harvest for this deck, but haven't included it. I'm not sure I want to enable tutoring. Things get crazy enough without giving out that ability.
I haven't included Hypergenesis because if one player has a Reliquary Tower and the others don't, it's pretty much a win condition for that player with all the card draw I'm giving out.
As for The Great Aurora suggestion, I did have a Day's Undoing and a Mnemonic Nexus in the deck at one time in case I accidentally got close to milling someone out, but I found that I didn't really need them.

Okay...The Great Aurora is only meant to reset the board though. It doesn't affect the grave.

Ah, of course TheRedGoat, right you are. I guess I should have read the freaking card! /;-)

I'm also working on a Hippo deck lol :D I'm running all the group huggiest stuff I can find... and beast within, terminus, cyclonic rift, and 15to20 counter spells. Those sort of things haha
I'll never use the mean stuff unless someone is being obnoxious. Someone plays Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger... OH DEAR I JUST BIT YOUR HEAD OFF CUZ IMA HIPPO! lol

Playtested it... A good deck goes from this to THIS. I can see people actually hating to play with this deck since it makes the game as swingy as Rose O'Donnell's mood. Still, great deck, +1'd.

Thanks for the comments, Cossackaudio and beninator.
You're right beninator, that this will make a strong deck even stronger, but I've also found through playing it, either in my playgroup or at a card shop, that a rising tide lifts all boats, to coin a phrase, and with all the card draw and ramp I'm giving out, other players can also get to, and afford to pay for, their own strong cards, as well as counters and removal, so it all tends to balance out.
Even though this deck is a ton of fun to play, I try not to play it very often. I don't want the novelty of it to wear thin. I do have a number of other EDH decks I enjoy playing, so letting this one rest for a while isn't a big deal.

Fun! Have you thought about Arboria? I've always wanted to find a home for it, but it kinda gets in the way of the whole "trying to win" thing. LOL. Once you have something like the Questing Hippo out to let everyone draw, you could prevent people from attacking you. Maybe Blazing Archon along those same lines too, but it's a 9cmc and I like that Arboria could be utilized by any player. And where's Tempting Wurm and Hunted Wumpus? +1

Thanks for the suggestions, BerserkWin.
No, I never really thought of adding Arboria. It's a bit of a control card, something I try to avoid with this deck.
You're right that Blazing Archon is a mana hog. I would rather use the 9 mana to give out more goodies.
I thought hard about including Tempting Wurm but in the end I thought it pushed the game forward too fast by allowing everyone to dump their hands onto the battlefield, plus if one person had a Reliquary Tower tower out and the others didn't, the game could be over right then, with all the card draw I'm giving out.
As far as Hunted Wumpus goes, I've thought about it, and a good case could be made for adding it, but it's a one time effect on a 6/6 body, which could be considered a threat. I don't know, I got both this and Tempting Wurm with the intention of adding them to the deck, but never did.

Thanks for the suggestions, CrazyGood-MTG9797.
Unfortunately, none of the suggested cards fit the theme of this deck.

What are your thoughts on the Offerings? (Intellectual Offering, Sylvan Offering, and Benevolent Offering)
October 12, 2016 1:04 p.m.
Hi ThoAlmighty, and thanks for the upvote.
To answer your question, I try to evenly distribute goodies among all other players, and while each of the offerings allows you to choose up to two players, that will always leave someone out if you're playing a four or more person game.
If you notice, almost all of the 'treat' cards in this deck either say "each player" or "Whenever a player". Forbidden Orchard is an exception, but since it's a permanent, I can spread the tokens around over a number of turns. Rainbow Vale is another exception, but again, it's a permanent so it tends to move around the table to give everyone a chance at it.

It's exactly what i need for my playgroup. They get salty so often, even when i mana ramp hard. And with Phelddagrif i won't care about the game. :D
Do you keep the list up to date?
