if you add Elixir of Immortality, this can be your win con. With so much card draw there is a chance that opponent will run out of cards.

Thanks for the suggestion, kortioznikas.
I don't know if you read the description, but I purposely don't have win conditions in the deck, I've got other EDH decks I play to win. This one is just to have fun with, not just for me but for everyone at the table.
No win conditions required.

I'm trying to run something similar in Jank EDH trying to cut down to 100 is hard.

Yep, looks like group huggy with a little control and a splash of red chaos thrown in. Sounds okay to me, +1.

what will you do if you get to a point where everyone except you and another guy are dead? do you let him win?
April 8, 2017 2:22 p.m.
Yep, absolutely. I know it's antithetical to all of your Magic playing instincts, but finishing second is something that happens quite often.
I don't actually 'let' the last opponent win, he has to actually do it, but I have nothing to stop him from winning except maybe Prosperity or Skyscribing. It's not my intention to mill anyone out though, and I wouldn't do it if I could.
Although it hasn't happened yet, if someone is having trouble finishing me off, I would love to Glacial Chasm myself to death. That would be awesome!

I love group hug <3. Try adding Fascination, but other than that, it's great!

Thanks for the comments, yahelhotam and SuperBacon12.
SuperBacon12, I have considered Fascination for the deck, but I already have Prosperity which costs 1 less for the same effect, and Skyscribing, which cost the same but has the Forecast ability which I really enjoy using. I guess I could add Fascination as a third, but I already have so much card draw in the deck, I don't really need any more.

Soo.. how do you win? Like i get you want to stay on the table and be nice, but after that, how do you close out games?

he deleted my comment of the same question, but basically, you don't win. you have fun!

I'll give that a "meh". Because when you're sitting on the table with the last person you just scoope.. But well, if you like that, that's okay. :)

I didn't delete your previous comment, yahelhotam, it's still here. I only leave the most recent comments visible on the main page in order to keep the page uncluttered. If you go to just above the first comment, over at the right you'll see a white button that says, "View Archive". Click on that and you can see your previous comment along with any of the previous 166 comments people have left for this deck.
...and to answer your question, EpicFreddi, you don't win, simple as that. I know this is a hard concept for some people to come to grips with, but you can have a ton of fun without winning, imagine that.

So, i get that, really. It's just that when you reduce the table to two people you should have at least one out. Because at that point the game just ends for you because you literally can't win. (Well, you could with your commander, but.. you know.)
June 9, 2017 11:53 a.m.
Yeah EpicFreddi, I see what you're saying, but I've never had an issue with a stalled game. Usually what happens is, whichever player is knocking out the other players, that player will have a strong enough board state to finish me off too.
I do have to be careful about milling people out with Prosperity or Skyscribing if the game goes on for very long though, because I'm giving everyone so much card draw. The first time I ever played this deck, I had Noble Benefactor in the deck, got massively attacked and had to block with everything I had to stay alive including Noble Benefactor. I tutored up Prosperity with it and used it my nest turn to mill everyone out. I almost didn't do it, but I let everyone know that I could, and to a man they egged me on to make the play, even though I really didn't want to.
After that game, I took Noble Benefactor out of the deck, and made a vow to myself to never use Prosperity or Skyscribing to win a game again, a vow I've kept to this day.

Thanks for the suggestion, yahelhotam.
I've been considering your suggestion and since I don't currently own a Ghirapur Orrery, I have more time to think about it while it's on order from TCG Player.
The problem I have with the card is that it's fairly high costed for what it can do in this deck. The second ability is pretty much useless since I'm giving everyone so much card draw. It's very unlikely anyone will have no cards in hand at any point during the game. At least I've never run into that situation while playing this deck.
So, that leaves the first ability, but is it good enough by itself to warrant the 4 mana casting cost? If you compare it to Rites of Flourishing which costs one less, it doesn't fair too well.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. It's one to consider for sure.

Phyrexian Unlife + Solemnity is a solid combo for just staying alive (if the opponent doesn't have destroy enchantment spells). If you get both of them out, the opponents will most likely just ignore you and you can keep on doing your thing :D

KamiYamabushi, you could replace Wall of Vapor with Guard Gomazoa, and Temporary Truce with another draw spell, something like Words of Wisdom.
Neither work exactly the same way as the two cards you mentioned, but I don't think you lose much by the replacements.
