Play group is doing a budget deck challenge. $50 limit for entire EDH deck. Basic lands are free.

I went with infect since its super powerful and redundant. The deck can eliminate a player on turn 2 but that play is extremely difficult given the deck building restrictions. Adding basalt monolith and sol ring could increase the likely hood and still keep me under budget. The t2 elimination is not as critical given this will be in a four player pod and my better option is to slowly infect away and finish off with proliferate.
