Pros:Strong early game, maximizing damage through double strike,infect and creature evasion, semi-toolbox.

Cons:Weak against creature control, weak late game, exhausts resources fast.

Strengths and Weaknesses:Easily wins against most setup/control decks and other aggro decks. Weak against total creature control, early spot removals and board wipe, but we face that with counterspells and protection.

How to use this deck:Initial Draw / Mulligan Setup You SHOULD be able to ramp on the first two turns, if you got no ramp, Rafiq says... "yo dawg, take a mulligan!"

One good first turn ramp is Green Sun's Zenith for 0, tutoring Dryad Arbor. There's lots of first turn ramp here that you can do a 2nd turn commander drop.

Turn two, you need to drop the threats right away, if you didn't on the first turn. After you drop your first infect thug, and if the board is favorable, post that Standstill!

Tip for using standstill - if you have a Counterspell or protection or shroud or something, when your opponent plays his/her spell, resolve the Standstill first. If you drew a card that can be used for response, use it.

There's lots of pump spells and protection to keep your thugs off their dudes, so use them.

Might of Oaks Triumph of the Hordes Finest Hour

When Rafiq of the Many is out, most thugs is almost considered commander damage. Your 1/1 would deal 4 poison counters, and that includes no pump yet! +4/+4 on a infector is lethal. Groundswell & Invigorate anyone? 2nd turn drop Rafiq, a 1/1 infect on first turn then invigorate on attack... 2nd turn GG

Cephalid Constable is also a great creature in this build. Opponent ramping and rafiq still absent? Do a pump and he loses quite the permanents (lookie lookie lands?) It's very devastating, gives you not only tempo, but a wincon as well.

for Mystical Tutor targets, there's a LOT. choose depending on your board situation. There's Shelter or Distortion Strike for evasion, Might of Oaks for pump, Cyclonic Rift or Terminus for board reset, Triumph of the Hordes for Wincon (when commander is out), Beast Within or Oblation for spot removal. The list goes on.

you have a good opposing 4/4 while rafiq is out and no other blockers? Corrupted Conscience for teh win.
