Maybeboard

Channeling big Abu energy for this deck headed by Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer

I built this deck on a relative budget of 50/60€ (Commander not included since I found him in a booster ;-)

I wanted to make a deck like this work from the moment he was spoiled--focusing on stealing creatures from the field and snatching spells from the tops of libraries. The end-result prioritises ramping, impulsive draw, and making Ragavan unblockable--with theft of creatures and spells being the primary win condition.

The current iteration of the deck lacks the flashiest and most expensive of the mono-red staples like Dockside, Neheb, and Chaos Warp so only time will tell how competitive it can be. At least within my play group, it can ramp and steal spells quickly and create a good advantage for the early game.

After a couple games with the deck as is, I'd like to find some either jankier or flashier ways to use the extra mana/treasure, ideally without playing solitaire or spending forever on a turn. Also wondering if I should lean more towards the steal&sac direction...

Nobody likes having their stuff stolen apparently :-/. So I think I need more ways to either outlast my opponents or interact directly with a lot of damage or removal directed monkey-wards.

Maybeboard includes many ramp options, mana rocks, stealing-creature spells, and exile-top-of-the-library nonsense that I couldn't find room for.

The deck is still in its infancy and there's plenty of room to mature. Feedback is appreciated to help it become more resilient and focused. Thanks!
