DERPLINGSUPREME thought you might enjoy this :). Still working on the mana base obviously, but I love the idea.

Get your Khans fetches now because they won't be any cheaper than they are now, not for a long time at least. It's best to just take the bullet. After that the Sunpetal Grove and Rootbound Crag are cheap and very accessible subs for shocks after that. Clifftop Retreat would be your best budget r/w land too. Eventually getting 2 of each shock with your fetches will be enough, you don't need more than that. Just don't use the refuge/gain lands. They're just bad and slow.

Besides the cards in your mana base, you might need to up to 24 lands and max out on Assault Formation while you're at it. You're gonna need one to stick on the board to win with all your defenders so having backups and actually drawing it is a must. You could probably swap out the Spider Umbra for those since that will net you minimal advantages.

Jungle Shrine, Rootbound Crag and Sunpetal Grove are all good budget lands.

Overgrown Battlement may be a better mana rock wall then Axebane Guardian. you also don't have any flyers and you only have your Rage Nimbus for reach, so you may want to think about using Wall of Tanglecord. now I don't play modern to much so I'm not sure how much of a problem this will be, but you are completely lacking in any artifact or enchantment removal.

I use Axebane Guardian for the "any color mana" which is very useful in this 3 color deck. I've got 2 Spider Umbras in here that give me reach and while it's not much, Oblivion Ring does hit artifacts and enchantments.

the only real issue with Axebane Guardian is that it's super easy to kill with damage sweepers and the wild Lightning Bolt you also have to wait to turn 4 to use its ability while Overgrown Battlement can be online by turn 3. Now I'm not say you should not run it what I'm saying is that you should run both for maximum mana ramp. But i do really like your deck, its not something an opponent would ever think to consider.

I see your point and if Overgrown Battlement gave me any color id definitely run it over axebane. And as far as running both go this deck really doesn't need all that mana as most of the spells are around 3 CMC or less.

Sylvan Caryatid helps with mana of every color and doesn't die to path and lightning bolt.
