Today I sat down and threw a deck together - I've been daydreaming about Izzet decks for the past few months now, and my old Izzet control deck just isn't cutting it. The win condition of this deck is Guttersnipe; everything I've put in the deck synergizes with him really well. Think Twice and Desperate Ravings are card advantage cards with flashback, so hopefully Guttersnipe's ability will make it so I can refresh my hand and deal damage at the same time. If not, those cards also let me dig into my deck to find the Guttersnipe that I'm lacking. Inaction Injunction and Fleeting Distraction are card advantage cards that deal with opposing creatures as well. Cyclonic Rift and Unsummon stall the opponent while dealing damage if Guttersnipe is on the field. Searing Spear and Pillar of Flame are the burn spells of the deck, dealing big chunks of damage and doubling as creature removal as well.

Basically, this deck controls the battlefield without the use of counterspells. There's a LOT of card advantage spells so finding a Guttersnipe and still having a hand full of instants shouldn't be a problem. If y'all see anything I'm lacking or have any good advice for me I'd love to hear it.
