I don't know if this combo will be of any use for you but it exists and it is cool:
Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Basal Sliver + Skeletal Changeling + Bitter Ordeal. The changeling is a Sliver Knight, so you sacrifice it, getting two mana, then recast it from the grave with that mana, loop it a million times then exile everyone's libraries

I actually considered that exact combo, which you can do with any number of other creatures too as long as you have Ashes of the Fallen, but I cut bitter ordeal because I can just do it with gonti and he's also good not as part of an infinite combo. Thanks for the cool suggestion!

As someone who has never watched Game of Thrones, I am brutally confused by that video...

Hey man a couple of questions for you. How do you get the background to be a picture. Also, how do you embed videos?

Pheardemons check my profile for the tutorial on backgrounds. The video embed code is essentially just the video embed code from YouTube. Please upvote in thanks if you haven't already.

Thanks man that is definitely helpful. Oh and I upvoted this deck the first time I saw it. I usually don't care to upvote (just like I don't 'like' photos on FB) but this one was just too damn good not to make sure it gets to the top of the lists of tappedout.

Thanks dude, I thought you had but was in a rush and couldn't check. I totally agree with your upvoting philosophy; I get asked to review and upvote people's decks all the time and I always ask, "why should I upvote your deck? What makes it worthy of attention or recognition?" Most of the time it's just a popular general and uncreative list full of staples or generic "good cards". I don't see the value in boosting the recognition of cards and concepts that already dominate the meta. So I appreciate your recognizing that I'm trying to do something different here.

Hey man quick question, what does mono-black have against artifacts and enchantments that may hurt us? Stuff like Rest in Peace, Leyline of the Void, Grafdigger's Cage, ect. Do we just sit and cry?

Right now I can only find/think of things like Praetor's Grasp and Lost Legacy which somewhat requires us to know their deck beforehand. We could also get lucky with cards like Thoughtseize, but that isn't a consistent thing to hope for. Was wondering if maybe you could think of some things that were more consistent.

If you're thinking of stripping them from opponents' decks then Bitter Ordeal andCard:Sadistic sacramentare good choices. Bitter ordeal can be a wincon too. As far as removing them once they've hit the field, you're limited to colorless removal like Perilous Vault, Oblivion Stone, and All Is Dust.

Thanks. Was having trouble trying to find some ways around it. I always forget about Oblivion Stone and Perilous Vault for some reason.

Not sure if it is viable, or worthwhile in your deck, but I found Thoughtpicker Witch which may be something to think about. Stops tutors like Enlightened Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, ect. Also, granted by luck, can stop your opponents enchantments and artifacts before they hit.

Yeah I love her and have been trying to find room for her in multiple decks. If you have infinite mana and dudes she also can exile your opponents libraries.

Fair point. I took out Viscera Seer for her, as they can both sacrifice my stuff. Granted Viscera Seer may be better at it, but I have others with a similar effect.

I didn't have Viscera seer in my original list for this deck but I've been in a bunch of situations lately where I literally lost because I didn't have a free sac outlet. Also, the card advantage you get from him over the course of a game is unreal.

Yea I wasn't sure about taking him out, but he is one I want to make room for again. That with Exquisite Blood and Leyline of the Void

I don't understand the Nameless Inversion combo. Could you please explain?

theseax - Nameless Inversion. This version of the card may be better to look at to understand the combo. Nameless Inversion has Changeling, which indicates it is every creature type (no matter where it is, hand, graveyard, library, ect). Haakon, Stromgald Scourge can cast knight cards out of the graveyard, so as long as he has two mana he can continuously recast Nameless Inversion from the graveyard because it is considered a Knight card due to the fact that it has changeling.

Ha thanks so much OneShoeCharlie! Let me know how it goes. In my playtesting I've realized that there are a ton of decision-points that make piloting it especially difficult. Also, Stranglehold would just wreck this deck lol. I'm contemplating putting Oblivion Stone and Perilous Vault in to deal with opposing strategies that hose the deck.
