I'll try him out. He looks great, so when I finally get a copy of him again i'll flip out Elspeth and try him out. Thanks!

Hey xzzane, congrats on the 100,000 views on your Bitterblossom list!
I had a question more directed to here though, since I'm still committed in my Raise the Alarm ways. I've been considering Anguished Unmaking for a while now. I finally decided to put it in, in place of Hero of Bladehold, as it would just get removed instantly and never get me where I wanted to be. My biggest question concerns how you deal with the additional lifeloss, as the first few turns are pretty painful. Do the three Auriok Champions and Sorin tend to offset this enough? Or could the addition of something like Timely Reinforcements be considered?

Ensnaring Bridge is not uncommon to see in my playgroup, so when I saw you mentioned it while talking about the addition of Unmaking, I decided to make the change.

You need a lot of lifegain to offset the lifeloss from anguished unmaking, but you don't need to go quite as hard on lifegain as a blossom shell would. A blossom shell will take at least 3 damage from the blossom triggers most of the time, and raise shells don't have to worry about that. I have been contemplating doing some edits to this list though in fagor of improving its late game viability.

I personally run Secure the Wastes as the late game bomb with Auriok Champion and Sorin, Solemn Visitor out. I also use two copies of Zealous Persecution to push damage through, but to be fair there are quite a few x/1 creatures to deal with in my meta.

Zealous Persecution is one of my all time favorite cards haha. I tried Secure the Wastes, but it ended up being too unreliable for me personally.

Hey Zane, when you get a chance would you be able to take a quick look at this shell and update it?

Hey xzzane, would you be able to update this shell now that Amonkhet has come out?

Elspeth is still amazing in this shell, I've just come to appreciate Gideon a lot more lately.
