In my deck I sideboard Cremate for Rites and Golgari decks.

Nice Idea! I wanted to find a way to deal with reanimator decks, but didn't find anyway to really deal with them. I think I really like the ides of Cremate as it also affects decks with Snapcaster Mage and other graveyard shenanigans.
Thank you for the Idea, I'm going to try it in the deck. :)

Try Rakdos Charm . Its good in both the reanimator matchup and u/w flash when you drop their grave or kill the pike

Rakdizzet sounds like it could be a Ravnican rapper ;)

Instead of Mizzium Mortars , try running Blasphemous Act ?
I find it as a better board wipe.
January 20, 2013 9:19 p.m.
The thing about Mizzium Mortars that I like better is the fact that it can be cast for 2 to trade one for one with my opponent's creature. Blasphemous Act is better against midrange match ups and my meta is more aggro oriented. That's why my choice stopped on Mizzium, but I still respect Blasphemous Act as a good board wipe, it's just not the best where I play. If you plan on using this deck at your store, check out what people play before and try to adapt a bit, because this deck is super reactive.
Still, thanks for the comment, it's really appreciated. :D

First of all, I love this deck that you've made! I've even gone off to make a variant of it myself.
Secondly, I would suggest Psychic Strike instead of Dissipate ? I like it better because it doesn't cost double blue.
Keep up the great work!

Have you thought of using Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius ? really strong card engine for a grixis control deck.
February 8, 2013 1:52 p.m.
Do I have the right to call it Rakdizzet if I want? XD
I tried Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius , but in the end it felt better to have a third Olivia Voldaren . Niv-Mizzet can be play only 2 turn later then Olivia, he stays a 5/5 flyier while Olivia can grow past that and the ability to steal other permanents overshadows most of the time his ability to draw cards.
It's something I learned by playing with the deck, but you may like Niv-Mizzet more and want to play with him. It's a personal choice I made after I tried both. I hope you still like the deck though. ;)

What do you need Counterflux for? I don't really know a situation, where it is better than Dissipate
Otherwise the deck looks nice :)

Counterflux wins against other decks with counterspells. Nuffsaid.

BOLT BOLT BOLT BOLTIn case you didn't notice, I suggest you to run Lightning Bolt. It's the best 1-drop red removal in modern. Also, in Grixis, Terminate and Mana Leak are obligatory.

Okay, did I miss something? Why are there Searing Spears instead of Lightning Bolts? Why is this deck not called Grixis? And why is Ultimate Price being run instead of Dismember and Go for the Throat?
You might also want to consider using Snapcaster Mage with Gurmag Angler and Tasigur, the Golden Fang. If a card goes to the yard, you either get to flash it back, (essentially letting you play stuff of the top of your deck with Tasigur) or delve it into a beater late-game. Then again, that's only the way I like playing Grixis. You do you M8.

As has been mentioned before, Lightning Bolt is strictly better than Searing Spear. Cool deck though.

Interesting name, I know alot of people would insist is called Grixis, but look at abzan, before Khans, it was didnt have a name and was called it junk by players, when it could have been called necra because of the cycle printed in apocalypse, just as grixis was called nightscape before shards, he can call his deck whatever he wants.

Desperate Ravings is a card I already considered, but I prefer Think Twice because I'm not randomly discarding cards I may want to keep. I'm hesitating between the two, but I think I prefer the consistency of think twice better. (Even if Desperate Ravings has a nice interaction with Snapcaster Mage )
Also, Liliana of the Veil cost two black mana which is sometime problematic because the Dimir shocklands aren't out yet. Also, Liliana is not so good against Reanimators deck and some other Archetypes. I'm still thinking of adding her in the main, I'm going to try maybe 1 or 2 main and see how it does.
Thanks for the comment FROZR2, I appreciate it.
