Sounds good to me, also against counter you need to play multiple low casting cost things in a turn to burn out their counter as well as have a board presence. In order to counter they have a low board presence early game because they are saving their mana for the counter spells.

So favor playing in multiples over playing the highest casting cost thing every round. That is the strategy to play aggro vs counter.

Love the deck gave u a +1 went won 3 out of 4 on fir day with it but i was just wondering why did u take out Vexing Devil and Rakdos Shred-Freak cause i would think u would want more humans to sac for Falkenrath Aristocrat just incase someone played a board wipe?

+1I'm curious though, how come you don't main deck Traitorous Blood especially with the falkenrath combo? Also, you can use it to just capture a big guy and attack for game or something.

Also, how come you don't use Devil's Play

The reason to sideline the Traitorous Blood is that a lot of people play control in my meta, so it is only useful sometimes. Devil's Play which is good, but too slow for my vision of this deck. It may fit in your red deck if you like the card :)

I don't see how this deck wins. Put a few counter spells in and its over. Can't beat Voice of Resurgence . Selling this deck soon.

Next time, playtest on TappedOut against common decks in your meta before shelling out the cash. And Voice of Resurgence is definitely an awesome new answer to a lot of things!

I'm not sure why you would constantly be losing to Voice of Resurgence there's so many options for dealing with it immediately. I'm also going to be asking you questions as this goes along Ixthinon as this is the type of deck I enjoy playing and I havn't played magic for like 2 year so don't lose patience with me lol. So I'm wondering why its necessary to have Illness in the Ranks when you have Electrickery you could bump Electrickery up to 4 and get rid of illness to add another card. I just think the overload cost is trivial and its more versatile. Keep up the good work.

Also what do you think about comboing dynacharge using its overload effect? That way if you still have a lot of 1/1's on the field you can pump them all up for a large attack. Especially if used with Fervent Cathar or if Legion Loyalist is on the field.

I think I just realized why you would have illness in the ranks because its a permanent and not one time use... sorry I'm slow lol.

The dynacharge idea is not a bad one, and yes it is permanent and deals with Lingering Souls /Voice of Resurgence tokens nicely :) Ask away if you need anything.

And I already addressed how Voice of Resurgence is dispatched.... Pillar of Flame . Yanno the 4 in the main board one casting cost sorcery that exiles the creature....

Have you thought about Appetite for Brains in your sideboard? Gets rid of those pesky Thragtusk s and Restoration Angel s.

Rakdos Aggro Deck

I've been looking at your deck for a week now and I have to say i'm impressed by the speed and ferocity this deck attacks its enemies. I've been play testing my deck Overrun the enemy lines to judge how fast my deck is and your just out runs it every time. Even when I come close Brimstone Volley is a killer. If you could take a look at my deck and see what I can do to make it more lethal I would appreciate it.

Wow great deck. I playtested it and I can see how you got 1st place at FNM. +1 from me.

I have been play testint my own little version of red deck wins against my own azorious detain deck, and they go back and forth depending on what is drawn. Red deck win deck wins about 15% more though. Against it for azorious, I would side 3 dispel and 6 creature cancel cards. Detain is slow on it with the haste though, but Oblivion Ring and Fiend Hunter are VERY helpful against it.

Which comes to my question...

What should one use for Oblivion Ring ?

Not sure what to answer for that one... I think that this deck is fast enough to out-pace the removal. For every oblivion ring you drop there will be 2 creatures swinging in. If you really wanted a card to hurt this deck its Blind Obedience . There is no removal spells in the R/B range to deal with enchantments but there is Duress . An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure !

Hi I love your deck and I got all the cards for it except for the main card needed which is Falkenrath Aristocrat I got one but I'm too poor to afford the other two is there any card you would recommend I can use as a alternative? Like would two more Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch work? I'm planning to play at FNM and try to win the promo Rakdos Cackler ! Which would look great in the deck :D
