Burn.

First-Strike.

Haste.

WELCOME TO HELL.

Creatures:

Rakdos Cackler : 2/2 for one? In either color?? Yes please. Who cares if the bugger can't block. Not to mention, he has haste with Exava on the field!

Legion Loyalist: I'm convinced thIs card is good. His ability to drop and add value to all your creatures for one mana is great. That and swinging on turn-one is cheeky. Love it.

Firedrinker Satyr : Mostly to help curve out nicely, not a big fan of this card. The 2/1 for one is nice, but if something nicer comes along, he's out.

Spike Jester : 3/1 haste for B/R. Turn 2 swing for 5. Nuff said.

Ash Zealot: 2/2 First strike haste for RR. Beat stick with an irrelevant second ability.

Chandra's Phoenix : 2/2 Flying haste, with a return effect. Neat!

Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch: My queen. What a finisher! 4/4 first strike haste, and the flavor is ridiculously cool. When she drops, shits going down. The fact that she gives Cackler haste is just a bonus.

Purphoros, God of the Forge: God of Aggro. We really want him for the 2 damage per drop, but being a 6/5 indestructible beat stick can't hurt. Also, you're able to dump mana to swing out with value. Neater!

Stormbreath Dragon: Best red card in standard ZzZ

Other spells:

Madcap Skills: Such a mean turn two drop. Drop on Cackler T2 for best effect.

Read the Bones: Never run out of gas and dig for answers. An easy inclusion in any B/X aggro deck. And we don't mind the 2 life sting.

Magma Jet: Two Mana Shock with Scry 2. Value.

Sideboard:

Rakdos Charm: Graveyard Control, Artifact control, and a finisher all in one! What a package!

Skullcrack: Stops life gain cold. Screw you Gary!

Sire Of Insanity: What's card advantage?

Dreadbore: Stops super friends at sorcery speed for B/R.

Slaughter Games: Take out that key combo piece or the big finisher, or just look through their deck. The world is your slaughterhouse!

Duress: Because we hate control.

Rakdos's Return : Because we REALLY hate control.

Combos:

T1: Mountain > Rakdos Cackler

T2: Swamp > Spike Jester > Swing for 5

T3: Blood Crypt > Chandra's Phoenix > Swing for 7

T4: Mountain > Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch > Swing for 11

GG

This deck always curves out, and it should always be a T4 Lethal swing. Eat your heart out, subpar Aggro decks. B/R up in this piece.

This is the Devil's carnival.

This is bloodletting mayhem at it's finest.

This is RAKDOS.

So I finally took my baby to FNM instead of playing Table-top magic... The results surprised me! I first played the early round, took a lose early for showing up late, played an American Control Deck and won 2-1, the took a win because my last opponent left. So, I just used my winnings to play in the night tournament.

Round 1: American Aggro 2-1

My first round was against a friend who was lending me tHe cards I needed to complete my deck, and it was fun. Round two went to solid decision making on his part. The last game he got mana screwed and I took it clean.

Round 2: Jund Monsters 2-1

This matchup scared me. He 3-0'd the early FNM, and the sheer power this deck can put out is intimidating. Round 1, I dropped him down to 1 life and had Stormbreath Dragon out, but he managed to stabilize with Courser of Kruphix. However, the next two rounds my deck curved out perfectly and side boarding in Dreadbore kept me open to swing for Lethal twice. Rakdos aggro=Too fast.

Round 3: Naya Hexproof/Aura 2-1

I feel like this was a good matchup for him, as I can't eliminate his big creatures and can only watch him get bigger. Game one was very aggressive but he could not handle the speed. Game two he got out a Fiendslayer Paladin (My only weakness!) and just gained life far faster than I could stop it. I called it, the game three, there was too much damage and he had to call it.

Round 4: American Control 2-1

We were two of three people that were undefeated. Game one he got a turn 4 Supreme Verdict, but I already dropped him down to 4. A turn 5 Stormbreath Dragon was game. Game two, he locked me down and I had to mulligan to a 5 card hand. He shut me down then ultimated Jace, Architect of Thought, using Anger of the Gods and stole one of my Dragons. I called it. Game 3, I t1 Duress, eliminating an Anger of the Gods in his hand, and he had 4 Scry land, an Elspeth, a Brimaz left in hand. T2, Spike Jester, and another on t3. His t3 he finally dropped his Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and I promptly Dreadbore'd it next turn, and dropped him down to 5 life. He looked at his hand and called it.

Game 5: Devotion to Golgari Draw

If we drew, I got first and he got Top 8, so we called it. We played a set for fun, and it went 2-0. His mistake was swinging with two Desecration Demon's, leaving me open to Maul him. GG's.

My promo was a Tormented Hero. Nifty.
