Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is my take on a Dynavolt Tower spells deck.

The purpose of this deck is to burn your opponent with spells while having Thermo-Alchemist and/or Dynavolt Tower on the board. It's very satisfying to make a chain reaction on the stack with madness and Thermo-Alchemist.

Harnessed Lightning is a really good removal spell. Incendiary Flow goes face most of the time but can be used to get rid of creatures for good which is nice.

Cards like Collective Defiance, Collective Brutality and Unlicensed Disintegration works perfectly for killing creatures and also keep damage to face.

Dynavolt Tower is the main source and can also our main spender. It's also very important for Unlicensed Disintegration.

The main weakness of this deck right now is counterspells from control decks. If your Tormenting Voice, Cathartic Reunion or Fateful Showdown gets countered you won't get the cards back and will run out of steam much faster and probably won't have enough resources/time to kill your opponent.

There is still some playtesting needed but i look forward to Aether revolt to see what's in store.

Tell me what you think and feel free to give suggestions.

Aether Revolt Updates!

Yahenni's Expertise Will be replacing Radiant Flames in the sideboard and possibly make it's way in to the mainboard depending on the metagame. It seems like a really strong card, being able to wipe the opponents board and casting a free Dynavolt Tower or any madness spells.

Hungry Flames does not look too good tbh, i would say that Unlicensed Disintegration is superior.

Fatal Push seems really good even without the Revolt trigger, deals with a lot of early game aggro.

Shock is back and might be good enough to play although i don't think so.

With all the combo comming in Aether Revolt, i think adding Lost Legacy to the sideboard might be a good option as it can shut down the Saheeli Rai combo if it resolves. Seems good.

Updates Add

Atm playtesting with a small tweak.

Mainboard:

Removing both Collective Brutality Adding another Tormenting Voice and Unlicensed Disintegration

Reason why: Lately i've felt that Collective Brutality makes you run out of gas very quickly for only a small amount of damage. While i still think its a good card, i need to try playing without it to see if i miss it or not.

Sideboard:

Removing all Galvanic Bombardment Adding another Collective Defiance, Radiant Flames and x2 Transgress the Mind

Bombardment is only good against very aggressive decks and usually sees no play at all, adding another Radiant flames in the sideboard makes game 2 more likely to be in our favor against aggressive decks. Transgress is also a game winning card if you can remove an important card from the opponent.
