I think this deck is verry interesting I think wrench mind would fit in perfecly

Hi ikkeumme, thanks for your comment, upvote if you like ;)
Wrench Mind is great and I played with it on the mono-black version of this deck. IMO, Rise/Fall is better and was one of the reasons of the red splash. Fall is awesome due to its randomness (not Hymn to Tourach level of awesomeness, but pretty cool) and if played correctly gives you great advantage in the game :)
thank you once again for your comment :)

The deck is almost FNM ready :)
Some new tweaks: 2 Runechanter's Pike , 1 Night's Whisper and 1 Duress out, 3 Vampire's Bite and 1 Thoughtseize in.
Runechanter's Pike is awesome but sometimes is too slow and I needed something faster, like Vampire's Bite . And I can also use the lifelink thing, to compensate life loss from other cards.
OTOH, Thoughtseize discards everything. It costs two life, but discards some cards that Inquisition of Kozilek can't, so it's a pretty good addition, especially against some decks (yes, Tron, I'm looking at you :)). Will probably add another in the future.

Nice deck. Looks like it would play differently from most discard decks. I like the idea of infect. +1

I would almost rather mainboard one of the slaughter games. As by turn 4 you can usually guess at some of their power cards. And also it may be fun the off chance that you go against a relentless rat or shadow born deck.

@Aristophocles thanks for your comment and upvote. Guess what? I've been thinking about that lately :) Or maybe an Extirpate or Surgical Extraction to combine with discard. Guess I'll have to run some tests :)
Thank you once again.

Running some tests with a couple of Surgical Extraction on main deck (one Duress and one Raven's Crime out).
December 26, 2013 6:38 a.m.
Tests with Surgical Extraction run pretty well, decided to include two, replacing a Raven's Crime and one Rise/Fall .
Normally, Surgical Extraction is not used in main decks but I think it's useful against 90% of the decks in the current meta, especially some of the best Tier 1 deck. Great to combo with discard, removal or even land destruction.

This deck is now FNM ready and I'll take it to a FNM on the local store very soon :) The results will be posted here.
Surgical Extraction was the last addition to this deck. Normally, this is a sideboard card, but I think it's pretty good against 90% of the decks in the current meta. Great combo with discard, removal and even with land destruction. In the tests I've run, it proved to be a great card against almost all Tier 1 decks.
OTOH, I'll add a couple of Verdant Catacombs or Marsh Flats soon.
And, of course, I'll continue to run tests with other cards.
As usual, suggestions and comments are really appreciated :)

Like the previous suggestions for Skittles and the deck looks pretty dirty overall. Infect always pisses me off but at least it's nice to see someone using Phyrexian Crusader like a boss.
Not sure if anyone's recommended Lashwrithe , but I've gotten my ass handed to me enough by that card. Of course with Urborg out that's +1/+1 for every land you control. :)

@Emrakool: thanks for your comment, suggestions and upvote :) Hell yeah, Phyrexian Crusader is the best, indeed :)
And I'll definitely run some testes with Skittles and Shizo, Death's Storehouse (replacing one Phyrexian Vatmother and one Swamp)

Best wishes for 2014! Also this year I will be following you and I would directly like to thank you for pointing out Shizo, Death's Storehouse to me. Don't know whether Skittles needs more evasion, but it's worth some test runs.
I currently see a lot of Junk and B/W tokens in my meta, I experience it to be even more annoying to play against than Tron. How are these match-ups going for you? Have you been able to bring the deck to local FNMs?

Thanks Dutchmen, wish you the same :)
Haven't brought to a FNM yet, but will do it soon. Tests have been pretty good so far though. Surgical Extraction (goodbye Lingering Souls :)) and Ratchet Bomb are great against Junk and B/W tokens :) The archetype that annoys me more right now is Affinity. The win ratio on my tests against Affinity is not that bad, but they seem to topdeck every single draw :/ The good thing is that nobody plays Affinity around here :)

Another tweak: one Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and one Verdant Catacombs in, one Phyrexian Vatmother and one Dragonskull Summit out :)
January 2, 2014 2:29 p.m.
Still deciding if I replace a Swamp by Shizo, Death's Storehouse .
As Dutchmen said, Skittles already has enough evasion and one more Swamp can make the difference against Blood Moon .

If you would be able to get your hands on Liliana of the Veil , would you play her?
January 3, 2014 1:38 a.m.
@Dutchmen I would and I will :) Lily is a bit overpriced but I definitely want to add two soon. Would be a great addition, I think.

Love it! I might edit it a bit for a casual non-infect variant.

@acbooster: thanks for your comment and upvote, really glad you like it :) Please let me know if you build your own version of it, would love to see it.

Another minor tweak. In the last couple of days, I realized that I lost some control against heavy control decks, as I was lacking some more discard in the mid/late game.
So, I'm going back to the full playset of Rise/Fall and another Raven's Crime (one Vampire's Bite and one Duress out).

Hi ChiefBell, thanks for your comment :) It's in my plans, I'll soon replace Duress by Thoughtseize :)
