Also adding Isochron Scepter will be a good with your instant and sorcery speed spells as they are all 2 drops.

In an infect deck, Devour Flesh is more land friendly, you don't really care if they gain life or not.
Isochron Scepter only works with instants and its not that good here for two reasons:
- The instants in the deck are just spot aids, other than repetitive discard or removal won't be that helpful.
- Because of affinity, EVERYONE have artifact hate in the sideboard, so Isochron Scepter will be a 2x1 most of the time.

How much is blue played in your meta? Coz, I just walked into this little gem Guttural Response . I know it's a very narrow SB card, but leaving one red mana open and instead of playing Lightning Bolt you counter their Cryptic Command :)

wow, i've never seen Funeral Charm utilized so efficiently in a deck. . . awesome

Thanks Dreno33! Funeral Charm is awesome, indeed :) Can be used for 4 different purposes :)

Looking forward to read some new comments and suggestions... Theros block only brought Anger of the Gods to this deck's sideboard (a great addition, I must say).
Will M15 or Khans of Tarkir bring some new goodies? Let's hope so :) I'd really love to see a Rakdos planeswalker that I could use on this deck.

IKR i've been waiting for a Rakdos Planeswalker for a while now (i mean, there is Sarkhan the Mad , but in my opinion he sucks)... Maybe they'll make Sarkhan B/R in Khans of Tarkir... Maybe we'll just see a reprint of Sarkhan Vol (that would be dissapointing...)

Sarkhan will probably be reprinted as B / R / G. That being said, Grafdigger's Cage does NOT deal with Living End , so you might want to update that part of the description. Maybe a Damnation ? Looks really solid.

@OpenFire: you're right :) thanks for the heads up and upvote :)

I'm also thinking about testing the deck with one Chandra, Pyromaster .

Minor tweaks on the mana base: 1 Arid Mesa and 1 Mountain out, 1 Marsh Flats and 1 Watery Grave . The goal is to use Rise , which is a cool finisher, following the good advice of Dutchmen. Thanks mate :)

how do you feel about Brute Force or Titan's Strength instead of Vampire's Bite

@Frayace: thanks for your suggestions. Would love to use both but, for good and for bad, Phyrexian Crusader has protection from red :)
June 5, 2014 4:04 p.m.
Ach, we all do :) I wanted to enchant the Crusader with Gift of Orzhova
June 6, 2014 9:03 a.m.
That would be awesome as well, Dutchmen :) Let's see if Khans of Tarkir or M15 will bring us better black pump spells... :D
June 6, 2014 9:49 a.m.
That would be sweet! A cool equipment card will do too...

Ok, with all the token decks in the current meta game, I think it's time for Illness in the Ranks to step in. So, i'll drop Devour Flesh in the sideboard and add one Illness in the Ranks .

I'm also considering to use M15 Waste Not, replacing a Night's Whisper , just for fun. Can give me extra blockers or game acceleration almost for free. I'll probably run some tests in the future.

Dutchmen generically speaking, Vampire's Bite has been better than Runechanter's Pike . Sometimes I wish I had Pike (normally when playing against blue based decks), but most of the times Bite is enough and the lifelink thing has saved me a lot of times :)
