This deck started off as an unbudgeted version of Arorsthrar's The Best $20 You'll Ever Spend. Thanks Arorsthrar. Slowly, it's shifted more heavily towards black, but I still splash red for Spike Jester , who is just too aggressive to pass up, Dreadbore (over Hero's Downfall because cheaper is better for this deck), and Mizzium Mortars (because Blood Baron of Vizkopa is a huge problem if you miss him with Thoughtseize).

The deck does fairly well in tournaments.It's scored 4-1 and 3-2 at FNM and 3-1 and 3-0 in standard tournaments.
