Sideboard

Welcome to Rakdos Planeswalkers, where fire and death is welcomed!

This deck has been a pet project of mine for quite some time, and it continues to amaze me how well it performs.

The aim of the game: The point of this deck is to kill everything and play planeswalker spells.

Removal: We have a giant removal package in order to ensure we never run out of ways to keep our opponent's board state clear. They're pretty self explanatory so I'll only explain a couple. cut//ribbons is the perfect card for the style of deck we have here, which is longggg term. Not only does it remove a creature with toughness 4 or less, it also ends games. Eat to Extinction is a new card that I am play testing. Honestly, it's a more expensive Bedevil, but the exile and servail ability may prove it's worth the cost.

The Planeswalkers: Chandra, Torch of Defiance is one of my favorite cards in the game. With four abilities she is never not useful. I've often used her second Plus 1 to play a cut, or other removal spell to keep her safe. Angrath, the Flame-Chained is a brutal card to face. It keeps our opponent's options limited, and his minus can allow us to throw something of theirs in their own face. Liliana, the Last Hope is just inherently a really solid card, and since I had one I figured she deserved a slot. Sarkhan the Masterless is an absolute blast to play and if he gets played its often game over.

Creatures: For quite some time now I still felt that a creature would be useful to have in this deck, but I could never decide on what to play. I've tried willow-the-wisp, Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, and Vampire Nighthawk, but all of them felt clunky in different ways. When I saw Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger I was thrilled. He has a strong utility ability, and for four mana we get a 6/6 on the field. By then we should have enough cards in the graveyard to exile him. The best part is he can KEEP COMING BACK! I'm playtesting with two of them for now, and will update with any changes.

Bonecrusher Giant is another recent include. His adventure allows us to hit any target which is super useful, and then of course the creature is a 4/3 for 3 and serves as a significant threat. Murderous Rider is our other adventure card that allows us to get rid of more creatures or planeswalkers for a small price.

Thanks for reading, and please give the deck some love!
