I am considering taking out 2 cards for land. What do you guys think?

Love the deck and what it can do, but there seems to be a severe lack of Hex , but anyway +1

I love it, it's a removal card with good reserve potential! Hex will be the next thing on the list.

you should add Grave Betrayal . It lets you steal your opponent's creatures, and then Warstorm Surge will burn even more! Good for killing more creatures and starting the process over again each turn!

Really liking the theme here! Awesome deck. I like Ashenmoor Gouger for straight speed, but he probably doesn't have enough value for EDH. I didn't even think of the Desecration Demon for this type of deck! but it works great. Love it. +1!

Thanks JakeHarlow, that means a lot. No, Ashenmoor Gouger would not work because there's a chance it can be blocked. On turn 4, I need a card that can deal direct damage so I can pull Rakdos out with ease..

For some simple damage, go with Kyren Sniper It's simple, and you get some easy damage for stuff...specially if you happen to put anything with bloodthirst in it.

Your general makes big things cost generic less.... so if they are only generic they are FREE! I would look at adding some big generic bombs like Steel Hellkite , Darksteel Colossus , Blightsteel Colossus , Wurmcoil Engine , and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre , Kozilek, Butcher of Truth . Also Repercussion makes it pretty easy to cast and recast your general, it also punishes other people for blocking.

Most of those cards will blow my budget out of the fucking water, but I'll put them on the maybeboard so I don't forget.

This deck embodies the true epitome of Rakdos :D

I would recommend Malfegor , Animate Dead , Life's Finale , and Praetor's Grasp . All of these are generally cheap and can put the hurt down. Also Jaya Ballard, Task Mage . Or heck through in the OG Rakdos: Rakdos the Defiler for even more beats.

i just have a question? why gut shot? its one mana to deal 1 damage or 2 damage to yourself to deal 1 damage. you could use a Shock or Lightning Bolt . i mean unless this is your way of assuring a single point of damage for a turn 4 rakdos. also why darksteel ingot? i still love the deck and +1 was just curious about the reasons.

aholder because on turn 4, I can pay for Gut Shot , then pull out Rakdos, Lord of Riots on the same turn.

Plus, darksteel ingot is indestructible.

I just re looked through your deck and i have a few cards id personaly dont understand why you run for edh such as Spike Jester and Rakdos Cackler both are dead draws if not in opening hand or within first 3 draws. Your probally going to want Tormented Soul and Stuffy Doll instead since thats guarentied damage and will help cast your commander more effectively. Also to have for your commander Lightning Greaves and the hexproof boots. Those will make him hard to remove and theirs a shroud i forget the name off that is like greaves but costs 2 to equip and makes him unblockable instead of haste

I run a Rakdos deck myself, Hell on Parade. You're welcome to look it over. Unlike your build, I chose a more creature-heavy approach to get more mileage out of the ability on Rakdos, Lord of Riots .

One thing I'd definitely recommend is Necropotence instead of Underworld Connections . Connections sets you up for getting 2-for-1'ed by a Strip Mine .

2 big things that may not be too expensive: Avatar of Fury and Avatar of Woe .
