Basic Control Deck. Works by controlling the field and occasionally their hand while maintaining card advantage and subjugating the opponent to a slow, excruciating death.

Definitely still a work in progress and has changed radically over the past two weeks and will likely change again. Suggestions are more than welcome.

Explanation of Cards (MVP section):

Dreadbore: This card is excellent. While not instant speed good unconditional removal is hard to come by these days and this guy does his job. And there's nothing more satisfying then killing a planeswalker with it.

Victim of Night: 2cmc instant removal. I prefer this card over Ultimate Price because most of the vampires and werewolves you want to hit (Olivia Voldaren, Vampire Aristocrat, Huntmaster of the Fells) can't be targeted by Ultimate Price anyway.

Mutilate: Easy MVP of this deck. This card has saved me on multiple occasions and being able to 3-for-1 an overconfident opponent who has overextended is outstanding. (alliteration is awesome)

Liliana of the Veil: Another MVP. Worth her weight in gold (probably more since she costs almost $30). In late game when the opponent in top-decking she becomes a one card control deck. If they keep in in there hand she makes them discard it. If they play it she makes them sacrifice it.

Underworld Connections: Does a great job at producing card advantage over a long game. Also keeps my hand full when I'm using Liliana's +1. Keeping it at three because I find multiple copies less useful.

Vampire Nighthawk: This is a card I'm never upset to have in my hand. Early game he'll slow down hyper-aggro decks like nothing else while netting me some valuable life. Midgame he'll trade with some of their bigger threats. And late game he can kill them while guaranteeing I don't kill myself with Underworld Connections.

Rakdos's Return: This guy saves me a lot of trouble. I usually play he around turn 5 or 6 after a Mutilate and make them discard their entire hand and put them in topdeck mode that must faster. Also acts as a finisher late in the game when I can pay 10 into X. Drawing multiples isn't so great, so I might reduce it to three copies, but we'll see.

Stensia Bloodhall: This is my alternative/primary win condition. Late game it can kill players while I control the board. Very hard to counter considering it is a land.

Tribute to Hunger: Even though the opponent gets to choose which card to sacrifice this card can hit hexproof things that would otherwise be nearly impossible to deal with. However its the lifegain that pushes this card into the MVP section. It can either buy a little extra time for me to stabalize, pull me out of the top deck burn death zone or help fuel Underworld Connections.

25x Land: Originally had it at 24 land but not being able to Mutilate turn four hurts. A lot. I'd rather be mana flooded than mana screwed in this deck.

Explanation of Cards (Maybe? section):

Desecration Demon: This guy barely misses the MVP section. He provides a very intimidating 4-drop and is a win condition late game. If they choose to sacrifice a creature to tap him its one less creature I have to deal with. Also can be played turn four and survive a turn 5 Mutilate leaving me with a huge threat. Despite this he still doesn't quite feel right and I might try testing out Olivia Voldaren but I'm trying to keep this deck as budget as possible (try to ignore the 3x Liliana of the Veil).

Ultimate Price: The deck needed more instant speed removal, but I'm a little skeptical of this card. Not being able to kill multicolored creatures has burned me in the past. At the same time I want to be able to consistently kill the opponent's one or two drops so I'm hesitant to switch it for Murder, especially with 3x Tribute to Hungers already. Might put in Devour flesh, but it'll require some testing.

Tragic Slip: Like Ultimate Price I feel like it isn't quite consistent enough. Still requires more testing before I make up my mind about it.
