I really like this deck. What do you think about adding Ring of Ma'ruf or Golden Wish to access some of does enchantments in your sideboard?

The stasis artwork is one of my favorit artworks in MTG.

just out of curiosity why did you take Daze out also Pendrell Mists is an idea to not drop so much money on a tabernacle in sideboard

fastbond_stripmine_crucible Daze is an amazing card and very good in this deck indeed. However, the list is pretty tight and its hard to fit in Daze. I could play it instead of Spell Pierce, but i also like Spell Pierce alot. Im gonna experiment more with Daze and see if i can find room for it. Do you consider Daze to be a 4-of? Or would it be wise to go 2 Daze 2 Spell Pierce (going down 1 Chain of Vapor or moving Black Vise to the side)?

Pendrell Mists seems fun, but when it comes to cmc4 cards i think i rather play Frozen AEther to fully lock them down. Allowing your opponent to have creatures is not that big of a deal since they only can attack once under Stasis (vigilance aside). Altho, i dont think i need any of those cards since Ral Zarek taps down any threat that my opponent manage to play.

The one thing i need the most right now is another Ral Zarek +1 effect (triggering during upkeep or end step), preferably as an artifact or enchantment (then Enlightened Tutor would be good enough to include). Im pretty sure no such thing exists so lets pray to the magic gods for such card in the future ;).

I think it makes sense to cut Daze. It's really powerful when you have Stasis out, but I'm thinking that early game you really won't want to bounce an Island, since you're looking to hit four mana for Ral Zarek and Jace, the Mind Sculptor. I would generally think Daze is better in decks that can play out threats for one or two mana, like Grixis Delver.

This guy could work as a finisher.. You dont really need Ral Zareks ultimate, so removing a loyalty each turn is no problem.. Black Vise is probably just better tho..

I personally have a preference to Daze just because with stasis out it nets you 1 turn and also useable as a zero mana bounce an island in response to a spell

some if not most decks play the 4 of Forsaken City and have Howling Mine to go with Black Vise and the cost to untap the city and going tri I assumed it was a must for you. that being said I am very impressed on how well your land base sits on having enough blue to actually support stasis in 3 colors.

How about Supreme Verdict instead of Pyroblast? It does cost a lot more, but is an instant, can't be countered, takes out any creature and can be pitched to Force of Will if necessary.

To be honest with you, decks like this are the reason why I don't play Legacy.

How about time elemental? At the end of your opponents turn bounce the stasis too your hand...

Thanks for the suggestion. Would be nice to have a repeatable bounce, but 4 mana is a bit too much. Chain of Vapor does the job pretty well as it is :).

Mana shouldn't be an issue as all you mana will be available too you every turn. Plus they are annoying and look snazzy. A friend used too use them with stasis back in the day.

I will need 6 mana to be able to play and bounce Stasis. For 6 mana i rather play Sun Titan to recurr Stasis each turn, while his vigilance is a wincon. I like that the deck has 0 creatures tho, it makes a chunk of the opponents deck useless from the start.

Im considering ditching white, play more basics and adding Back to Basics and Blood Moon. Could be fun, but i think i need white for the plows. There is no substitute in U/R..

What's with the awkward 1 of's? Seems like getting rid of Chain of Vapor, Counterspell, and Spell Snare would give you room to add anything you want, such as 3 Chain of Vapors, or 3 Counterspells same with Spell Snare having a one of is pretty unreliable. I'm not an expert especially in Legacy, but it just seems weird.

smackjack, I like the way your description is set up. How could I do that for my legacy deck? I want to make something similar for Pox. Hope you don't mind me asking.

Hi,

Why do you need 4x Polluted Deltas in this deck?

smackjack says... #25

To fetch Island, Tundra and Volcanic Island. Scalding Tarn would be better as it also can fetch my singelton Plateau, but considering the price difference i choose Polluted Delta
