I'm actually confused as to why you're running Treasure Cruise instead of Dig Through Time since you're a combo control deck.

Because of the length of these matches, I might try adding Ancestral Vision as a 1 or 2 of. It will take a long time for you to finish, so the 3 counters won't be that bad.

And do I get no credit for that name?
That was my idea that I posted on the forum a few days ago

Any consideration for Standstill? Ancestral Vision can be played regardless if you have it in play or not.

NageekXLII Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately Mental Misstep is super banned in all formats :(. And thanks for the +1 (although i think you forgot to press the +1 button ;).

Caligula thanks for your suggestions. Ive been trying out Frozen AEther (same as Kismet but blue) but i think its a bit clunky. Sure, its a hard lock, but the soft lock almost always slows the opponent down enough for me to get ahead anyways. Ensnare is good, and i used to have it in my sideboard. Right now i cant remember why its not there anymore ;). Thwart is also good, but i think it fits better in the Stasis deck that depends on bouncing lands to keep stasis alive. I used it before but now i have Force of Will in its place. Deprive, same thing here. Better in the deck that relies on bouncing lands.

Touche. Either way I've been a fan of this stasis brew. Love the mind sculptor in here lol.

I honestly think Dig Through Time is superior to Intuition in this deck- It's true that it doesn't always cost less, but the selection it gives you over Intuition in being able to, say, find a Force of Will and a Stasis, is quite advantageous over only being able to find multiples of one card. I don't know if it actually would pan out in practice, which is something that I'd love to know- I'd also love to know how Intuition pans out for you.

KillthatBUG I use Intuition in the situation where i desperately need Ral Zarek or Stasis to lock out. Think of it as an "damn i need the lock NOW or i will loose" kind of card. Knowing i get Stasis or Ral Zarek is important. Dig is great for card advantage, but you are not guaranteed to find what you really need. Intuition is kind of a glass cannon since you only have one other copy of the card left in the deck if what you searched for gets countered, but I often find myself in a lock-now-or-loose situation, and then its better than taking my chances with Dig :)

I'd probably get rid of Back to Basics since it kinda stalls you out as well for Ensnare since it will help you WAY more than BtB.
Frantic Search might be a good draw spell for the deck.
But you are totally right on with Intuition, It's always nice to lock up one of your key pieces.

@Kozelek, this is a legacy deck. Don't see how the EDH banlist has any relevance here...

Oh yea you need to click on the "deck construction" link and it will pull up the banned list
