This is my attempt at creating a spicy GW little kid deck for standard. -The Deck: The deck is kind of a mash of 3 GW deck archetypes (Emeria, The Sky Ruin, GW Little Kid, and Tokens) that all kind of fit together into this one deck. Rally the Little Kids contains features from each of the 3 decks that ultimately come together to create a grindy, go wide, go over the top deck that features some cool synergies and "Combos". All advice and criticism is welcome. I have not had a chance to play-test the deck as of 3/5/18 and would like any feed back. I think I might end up leaning away from the GW Little Kid archetype. -Synergies and Archetypes: So I'll start with how the deck acts like the 3 different deck archetypes (Emeria, The Sky Ruin, GW Little Kid, and Tokens). Emeria, the Sky Ruin: Like the modern deck this deck cares about its graveyard by being able to bring back things. The two ways to do this is through Renegade Rallier and Bishop of Rebirth. Bishop acts like the decks Sun Titan being able to get back the creatures that might have died at the beginning of the game and allows for the deck to grind in the late game. The other way, Renegade Rallier, can just get back creatures or lands that find their way into the graveyard. But the main use for it is for the decks "Combo" which features Oath of Ajani Tokens: The Deck features Oketra's Monument which not only helps us pay for the creatures in the deck but also floods the board with 1/1 vigilance warrior tokens. This is really the only tokeny aspect to the deck but paired with the fact that all of the creatures in the deck are white Oketra's Monument will be triggering with every creature you cast which will create a substantial amount of dudes. Also the Monument helps the deck grind as it will be difficult for opponents to attack through the tokens plus having a huge board pairs well with the "Combo". GW Little Kid: The Deck is just equipped with some above the curve creatures like Skymarcher Aspirant and Glory-Bound Initiate. This allows the deck to curve out and be quite aggressive which can win some games out right. Synergies: Rally the Little Kids features some cool synergies that ultimately make the deck. For starters there's the inclusion of Aviary Mechanic, Legion Conquistador, and Oketra's Monument. The idea here is that the Mechanic can pick up creatures like Rallier or and exerted Initiate as well as triggering revolt if necessary and with Monument is only 1 white mana. Conquistador just really helps the deck flood the board by being able to find more dudes and trigger monument. Lastly Ascending with Aspirant is not impossible with all the tokens created by Monument. The "Combo": Finally the thing that I've mentioned a couple of times and, when it comes down to it, the reason I built the deck. So the reason its a "Combo" and not just actually a combo is because its more of just a unique and grindy interaction between two cards that really makes having a lot of 1/1 tokens pay off. The idea is to have already in play or cast a Oath of Ajani then to cast a second one which causes you to legend rule them. THIS TRIGGERS REVOLT which allows you to cast Renegade Rallier and get back the sacrificed Oath. This process ultimately creates more and more +1/+1 triggers for the team which creates a very scary board.
