This is my try at a 5color Ad Nauseam list for Ramos, Dragon Engine. The primary reasons for this are firstly, the number of Island/x duals in 5c making a High Tide manabase surprisingly viable. Secondly, Ramos himself can act as a secondary artifact mana source, with Hurkyl's Recall resetting his "once a turn" limitation on the mana generation ability. Additionally, his ability to gain counters off spells gives the potential for surprising general damage wins. The third and final point in favor of the Dragon Engine is his interaction with Conflux. His counter removal ability pays for the colossal spell, which in turn recharges 5 counters onto him. Unlike a lot of Ramos speculation I've seen, our piles look more like Ad Nauseam, Angel's Grace, Force of Will, Simic Charm, Pyroblast. Bring to Light, Noxious Revival, or Crop Rotation can be substituted for Simic Charm, as its primary purpose is being pitched to Force. Not only does this give us a metric ton of protection for our combo, it's also very interesting in the mana department, since even though Conflux itself is a sorcery, everything it finds are instant's, allowing the once per turn caveat to be sidestepped on an opponent's turn, possibly even in response to their own win. Of course, this requires us to play the less than amazing Scout's Warning, or even less spectacular Savage Summoning. Ad Naus and Grace together cost WBB3, leaving 4 mana in some combination of up to one white mana, and up to 2 each of U,G, or R. This is exactly enough to cast one of those flash spells and Laboratory Maniac, which when followed with Gush wins the game. The biggest issue with this line is not being able to pay life once Health reaches zero. This turns off Force of Will and all phyrexian mana.

The other win is to use Ad Naus to draw into a storm win through Aetherflux Reservoir. In this case, Ramos acts as a huge mana rock, boosting your mana at storm count 5(depending on initial conditions) and building more mana after being bounced with Hurkyl's Recall. High Tide and Trace of Abundance , as well as Helm of Awakening and Baral, Chief of Compliance are very important here, as they allow spells like Time Spiral and Frantic Search to generate mana, leading to high enough storm counts with Aetherflux to either Ad Naus again for the rest of the deck, or to simply kill people with big laser blasts.

The last option is to use Demonic Consultation to exile the whole library by Scrying laboratory maniac to the bottom of the deck, casting Lab Man, and then praying hard for victory. Demonic consultation can also set up weird-ass Timetwister infinites, but that requires so many things to be in the right place at the right time that it's not worth going into.

Thanks wedge! Thanks shaper!
