I have wanted to create the "ultimate" (within reason $$$) artifact and/or WUBRG deck combining fun and awesome spells that normally you could never cast in any competitive game of Magic.

Still sorting my mana-base out. I feel like I get mana screwed too often in play-testing.

The idea here is basically Ramos + Fist of Suns. Combo Ramos off with any number of the spells within, then use his 10 mana alone to cast 2 crazy 10+ mana spells for 5cmc each, rinse repeat if I have combo pieces or mana remaining.

Advice on any card choices in my deck is welcomed!!

Card Synergies: Show

Counters

- Experiment Kraj: Two Dragon Engines wouldn't be OP, right?

- Hardened Scales: You like counters? Have a counter with those counters.

- Winding Constrictor: Hardened Scales on a stick, kind of.

- Corpsejack Menace: Budget, but still awesome, sort-of-Doubling Season.

- Reyhan: Counter conservation. Also, combos with Hardened Scales and the like to generate even MORE counters.

- Forgotten Ancient: Generates counters and can pump other creatures with its counters each upkeep.

- Atraxa: 4 counters for Ramos, 5 on your endstep.

- Archangel of Thune: Atraxa's BFF! Right..? Guard her as she comes onto the field. She will reward you if you can combo off with her.

- Vorel: Oh sorry, didn't have enough counters? Can target anything except planeswalkers and enchantments.

- Mayael's Aria: Like an easier to activate Angel of Thune, but it also can gain you life and win you the game all in one tidy 3 mana package.

- Aether Hub: counters are expected to increase at some point due to proliferate, etc. Possibly a shaky strategy, worth consideration.

Ramos Activators {W}{W}{U}{U}{B}{B}{R}{R}{G}{G}

- Navigator, Cloudshift: Reset Ramos or Kraj to reuse the mana ability.

- Abzan Charm, Jund Charm: Cheap, modular, and can activate Ramos.

- Yidris: Trample AND potential for a 3cmc cascade

- Chromanticore: Activate Ramos, AND have a badass creature.

- Transguild Courier: Activates Ramos for {4}.

- Maelstrom Wanderer: Cascade into other spells to activate Ramos.

- Maelstrom Nexus: Helps create Ramos activation chains, should you not have Navigator.

- Conflux: Combo with Fist for max value.

- Progenitus: Combo with Fist, then re-activate Ramos for more carnage.

- Ajani: Activates Ramos. Summon & activate his +1 for 5 counters, minimum.

- Increasing Savagery: Activates Ramos, with 1 counter leftover, also can be flashbacked.

Artifact Support

- Artifact Lands: vulnerable until Forge is out. Combos with Unwinding Clock for extra mana during opponents' turns.

- Door to Nothingness: Return this with Glissa or a tutor to rinse and repeat in multiplayer.

- Glissa: Bring back artifacts, and kick ass.

- Vedalken Orrery: Play during opponents turns.

- Unwinding Clock: Useful for artifact lands, and provides pseudo vigilance to artifact creatures.

Tempo & Card Draw

- Mirari's Wake: Awesome ramp/creature enchant.

- Burgeoning: Combo with other ramp spells that leave lands in your hand.

- Urban Evolution: Card draw, and land ramp! Can be viewed as 4cmc instead of 5 due to the potential land drop.

- Shard Convergence: Combine with Burgeoning for maximum ramp.

- Temur Ascendancy: Minimum of 3 counters for Ramos, creatures get haste (Piper, etc.), provides card draw for three mana? MVP

- Rashmi: Like Nexus, but with pseudo card draw.

- Elvish Piper: Don't pay for creature spells. {G} for Progenitus and co.

- Rishkar's Expertise: Use with Fist. Draw cards, and cast a creature from your hand 5cmc or less for WUBRG.

- Enter the Infinite: Combo with Fist, please.

Control

- In Garruk's Wake: Combo with Fist, for a 1-sided 5cmc board wipe.

- Dispatch: Friggin' awesome removal for any artifact deck.

- Cruel Ultimatum: Pewpew ALL THE LAZORS. Combo with Fist.

Stuff I'm considering: Show

-Amulet of Vigor (as one of 99, I feel it may be drawn too inconsistently to be worth a slot?)

-Sphinx's Revelation/ Pull from Tomorrow

-Lightning Greaves

-Marath, Will of the Wild

-Fathom Mage

-Move Maelstrom Pulse to Sideboard? Another spell could easily take it's place, and while it's extremely effective removal, it's only sorcery speed and more effective in modern than EDH.
